Uliumbiwa Kusudi is a workshop based program that bring young people and children into an awareness of self that result to increased value for themselves, and confidence to act from within.
The mission of Uliumbiwa Kusudi is, to influence change on how young people and children learn and grow by ensuring their socialization is with an experience that facilitate an understanding of self, and actualization of their passion and purpose.
Envision a generation of people who demonstrate acknowledgement of their value and confidence to act upon mission that have meaning and value for them and their communities.

TARGET AUDIENCE
The primary target for Uliumbiwa Kusudi program is youth aged 12 - 25 years old, and the secondary target audience includes the following:
Parents/Guardians: Parents and guardians of the youth attending the programs.
Academics: The individuals who support youth in a secondary and/or postsecondary educational environment, including but not limited to Government educational departments, principals, teachers, guidance counselors, and administrators.
Third-party groups: Organizations that offer services or support to youth aged 12–25.
These are Young people living in Tanzania between the ages of 12 and 25 who are in secondary and postsecondary academic settings (secondary schools, and universities).
These individuals represent a demographic full of hope, life, and possibility; they are eager to learn, grow, and they are in crucial stage of developing the sense of self and community. They come from diverse backgrounds academically, emotionally, and financially. Additionally, they are supported financially by their parents or legal guardians.
The youth we serve vary greatly, but all tend to fit one or more of the following characteristics.
High achievers. Youth who demonstrate high grade achievements, pressure in maintaining grades, and have no or low awareness of who they are as people, their passion and dreams they would like to accomplish.
Showing subtle signs: These youth have demonstrated a change in behavior and are showing subtle signs of internal conflict, such as drops in grades, low self esteem/self worth, being in therapy, getting into fights.
At risks: At risk youth have lived through high-stress situations that have put them at greater risk of strain and stress, for example, being in orphanage, adoption, experiencing a divorce and abusive environments, and living in low income/impoverished communities.
Troubled - Troubled youth are youth who are headed down the wrong path. They tend to be individuals who have dropped out of school or are in unhealthy lifestyle.
OFFERINGS
Uliumbiwa Kusudi offers 5 different programs to meet the demand of different target audience:
1. Transformational leadership program for students: This is a Uliumbiwa Kusudi instructor-led workshop offered in three bundles
a) A one-day Uliumbiwa Kusudi instructor led workshop. Workshop lasts for 5-6 hours per day (usually between 9-3pm). Weekends are most preferable
b) A five-days Uliumbiwa Kusudi instructor led workshop w/service project. Workshop lasts 2-3 per day and usually runs after school.
c) A five-days Uliumbiwa Kusudi instructor led youth transformation workshop. Includes a deeper dive into each topic & the community service project. Sessions last for eight hours, usually run between 10am and 5pm and include lunch & snacks. Preferable during holidays
2. Transformational Leadership Training Program for Teachers and Facilitators: A Uliumbiwa Kusudi instructor-led training program designed for teachers and workshop facilitators. This training program is designed specifically for adults working with youth in secondary and postsecondary schools. This in-person three-day workshop provides participants with an overview and importance of youth personal development, highlights Uliumbiwa Kusudi’s philosophy, learn how to become an engaging workshop facilitator, who can develop and nurture transformational leadership skills in youth, ages 12-25. Educators who complete the program will participate in a Uliumbiwa Kusudi workshop session, receive sample curriculum and become a trained Uliumbiwa Kusudi transformational development facilitator.
3. Uliumbiwa Kusudi Summit: Is a one day transformative experience intended to bring young people from different background into an experiences that is meant to help them discover and or nurture their greatness and live life of value. Additionally, youth summit stands as an opportunity for young people to build connection among one another and share ideas that are instrumental in shaping their lives and communities.
4. Uliumbiwa Kusudi Inspiration: Is a 30 minutes to One hour inspiration on self-awareness and human greatness. This offering can be done either during morning assembly, or during debate for schools that have a debate program.
