In Kenya and Tanzania the poorest face poverty, food insecurity and sexual violence. They lack access to education and many basic rights.

Our mission is to enable families and their communities participate in, and take responsibility for, their future.

World Teachers Day 🌍 📚

Today we celebrate the dedicated teachers who lead Ace Africa’s Child-to-Child Clubs across Kenya and Tanzania.

Our Child-to-Child Clubs create a space where vulnerable children learn from one another, build confidence, learn their rights and develop the knowledge and skills to make positive choices for themselves and their future.

Behind every successful club is a teacher who gives their time, encouragement and guidance to ensure that each and every child is empowered to find their voices and protect their rights.

Thank you to all of our teachers for inspiring the next generation ❣️

Many remote, rural or primary schools have no access to clean water 💦.

Students miss vital study time collecting dirty water from rivers, risking sexual assault, being attacked by wild animals or hit by cars. The water makes them sick 🤢 and they miss even more school.

Ace Africa works with local government, communities and donors like the Mac Bevan Charitable Trust to bring clean water. This transforms education for thousands of students

Together we install rainwater harvesting systems in schools, train teachers to teach children about good hygiene and run campaigns to educate local communities.

The impact of a recent project targeting five schools was incredible:

1️⃣ clean water for 2,786 children.
2️⃣ a fall in reported cases of waterborne disease cases fall from 58 to 5 a month.
3️⃣ school attendance increased from 69 % to 93%
4️⃣....and healthier children meant healthier academic results!

Families living close to the school access clean water and help look after the equipment. Local government was inspired to provide equipment and vital health information to other schools.

Ulawe Primary School was one of the five schools. The BEFORE and AFTER pictures speak for themselves.

Impressed? Then please share and let other people know how supporting a small charity like Ace Africa makes a big difference!

In rural Tanzania, dental health isn’t just about a nice smile. 😁

It impacts health, school attendance and ultimately employment. A lack of information and access to services can lead to self-extraction, chronic infection and even death.

In 2025 Ace Africa's award winning community drama team put on 12 performances for 9,975 people about dental health. Colourful, loud interactive shows communicate key messages, quickly, to huge audiences.

And to improve access to vital dental services, 10 government nurses and 40 volunteers were trained. This meant five dental health teams could be established to spread information in the community and help people to get urgent dental treatment.

The combination of increased awareness and new dental health teams helped 9,023 people access vital dental health and hygiene services.

And that put a lot of smiles, on a lot of faces.
