Mstaafrika Arts Music & Culture, Tanzania. This is the project which intends to use power of arts and music language as an instrument for Edutaining and Enlightening streets in Africa. How do we make it?

Mstaafrika is a non-profit registered project which intends to use power of arts and music language as an instrument for Edutaining and Enlightening streets of Africa and mostly Educating people about music, unity, peace, love, social ethics, health, environmental issues and other social and community based affairs. The name MSTAAFRIKA means a civilized person who does things in African way for th

e betterment of African societies. Its motto “Taa ya Mitaa ya Afrika Kifikra” means Mental Light of African Streets. Why is this project important? This project is crucial due to the fact that music, art and culture shape individual’s worldviews and community perception on changes and challenges that facing them in their daily basis. Therefore there is a need for the artists to understand consciously this role and initiate this type of program to promote, empower and preserve the role of this career in the development of mankind. And this is what Mstaafrika is aiming at. To bring our goals in to reality we have different programs of teaching, live performing as well as initiating events and entertainment shows that bring people together so as to be edutained as well as infortained while getting to know one another and be connected with potential stakeholders of various sectors. Therefore in the process of materializing our mission we have the following programs:
I. Mstaafrika Live Music Band
II. Mstaafrika Music Class Sessions
III. Mstaafrika Street Fashion Show
IV. Mstaafrika Community Campaign
V. ‘Chezesha Mikono’ programe
