LIM’s FIVE Goals
Goal 1 (September 2014- March 2015)
To provide a quality, revenue-generating venue with live music, basketball/skatepark and coffee shop facilities (former Colobus Club, Kijenge);
Goal 2 (from May 2014)
To facilitate a think-tank environment, seminars and projects to engage youth leaders in strategic thinking, mentored by role-models and equippers recruited from all sectors of s
ociety. (This is currently being implemented in partnership with Vision4Youth, African Enterprise and Samaritan Strategy);
Goal 3 (2015- )
To provide ongoing mentoring, support and recovery network for youth as they move into their vocational leadership roles. The proposed mentorship cycle involves ‘alumni’ becoming part of the equipping team, encouraging successful leaders to become part of the ongoing mission as mentors and role-models. Goal 4 (from 2016)
To establish similar initiatives in other major urban centres throughout the EAC. Goal 5 (2015)
Multi-media – radio/TV, magazines and publications produced by and for youth sector.
