The Jah People

The Jah People Karibu (Welcome) to anyone who wishes to join our movement! Give Thanks The Handicraft is then exported to England to be sold at markets, Festivals and online.

The Jah People is a social enterprise that aims to generate income for local Tanzanian artists by creating industry. Through promoting Tanzanian artists we aim to deal with some of the day to day issues that Tanzanians face. In 2013 we successfully managed to support a 14 year old boy who was living on the streets through education, this was achieved by generating awareness through art. With every

purchase a generous portion of the money will be sent back to Arusha in Tanzania. A portion of this money will be spent on new art materials in Tanzania to make new handicraft. Our aim is to provide a stable income for Tanzanian artists who are living below the poverty line whilst at the same time introducing new and unique African art into the U.K market.
