The Bahati Project

The Bahati Project We are a Canadian Non-profit Charity that funds, manages and operates a child care & education centre in Tanzania.

In Swahili the term “bahati” means success, and our mission is to bring success and happiness to Tengeru Village Development Centre. The Bahati Project was originally created to support three projects in Tanzania. Tengeru Village School:
Tengeru Village School (previously Meru View) is a free Pre-Primary school for over 70 underprivileged children aged 2-7 years in the Tengeru village outside Arus

ha, Tanzania. Tengeru Village provides education for the students in both Swahili and English. Students are provided with two meals per day, health care, and dental care.
