Tanzania Ecological and Wildlife Exploration Center - TEWEC

Tanzania Ecological and Wildlife Exploration Center - TEWEC Tanzania Ecological and Wildlife Exploration Center (TEWEC) is an organization established in 2014. Hamenya Mpemba.

Tanzania Ecological and Wildlife Exploration Center (TEWEC) is an organization established in 2014, but the idea for its establishment started five years ago and finally we realised all the ideas in 2014 by the founder Mr. We aimed to explore nature in its real state which is in the parks, game reserves and WMA’s. In line with our main aim, we are mainly focused on Ecological aspects, wildlife, re

search and education. We are a small but experienced Tanzanian organization that runs and organizes Safaris, ecological and wildlife researches, Tanzania Mountains climbing, nature photographing, bird watching adventures, volunteering/internship and other related activities all over Tanzania. Over the years we have hosted a great number of international visitors in both areas of our specialization from all over the world but by then we were not under TEWEC management. All these experiences has driven us to start our career as tewec. Our office is based in Arusha, the famous tourist city in Tanzania East Africa, from where we coordinate our services. The safari and tour guides employed by TEWEC are based in various regions and cities throughout the country. By dealing with TEWEC, you will be dealing directly with your experienced ecologist, wildlife managers, environmentalists and tour operators. We are small enough to never let any of our clients just become another number rather experience and feel nature, learn and relax as much as possible.

BIRD WATCHING

We also offer bird watching services throughout Tanzania National Parks or in WMA’s. Tanzania is a great ornithological destination. The national check-list of 1,100 bird species is the third-highest in Africa, representing more than 10% of the global avifauna, and a well-planned one to two-week tour for example is likely to result in a trip list of about 300 species.
