We empower women through economic opportunities, community health initiatives, and environmental conservation.

We had the privilege of welcoming a wonderful group of generous visitors who stopped by during their journey to Tanzania’s national parks. Together, we spent a meaningful day engaging with the community as the women proudly showcased their businesses, skills, and the incredible progress they are making.

It was a true honor to host this inspiring group. They not only experienced the women’s work firsthand but also brought smiles to many faces by donating essential supplies to the village clinic and supporting local women entrepreneurs through direct purchases from their businesses.

We are grateful for this memorable visit and look forward to staying connected and welcoming them back again in the near future.

A special thank you to Republic for making this visit possible. We look forward to creating more meaningful connections and hosting many more groups in the future.

Trees protect soil from erosion, help the land retain moisture, provide shade for crops and livestock, and can even offer fruit, firewood, and other resources when times are difficult.

Today, we join the world in observing World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought.

Land is more than soil beneath our feet — it is the foundation of food, water, livelihoods, and community resilience. When land is degraded, families, farmers, and future generations are affected. But when we restore it, we give life back to the environment and hope back to communities.

At WAEV, we believe that every tree planted and every effort made to protect the land contributes to a stronger and greener future.
