Meet Jackline Lenard, one of our impact mechanics, a proud graduate of the Bikepreneur program, now creating change in communities across Manyara Region.

During our awareness sessions, she goes beyond maintenance. Jackline trains students and parents on the proper use and care of bicycles — making sure every bike stays on the road and continues to deliver lasting impact.

Because a bicycle is not just given… it is sustained.

Fun fact: Did you know a bicycle should not be washed more than 3 times a month to maintain its durability?😊

Some distances are not just measured in kilometers, but in the challenges students face just to reach school.

In Kilimanjaro Region, that story is beginning to change.

Across TPC Secondary School, Mpirani Secondary School, Mabogini Secondary School, and Oria Secondary School, 200 students received something powerful — not just bicycles, but access, safety, and a new daily experience of getting to school.

Each of the 200 bicycles, paired with a helmet, represents a journey made easier…

At Nkuarisambu Secondary School in Arusha, the ABC Impact Bike2School Program marked a special milestone — the distribution of 100 bicycles to students, opening new possibilities for their journey to education.

This moment also represents our first partnership with Her Journey to School, a shared commitment to ensuring that distance is no longer a barrier to learning.

For these students, this is more than a ride.

It is time saved, energy preserved, and a renewed chance to stay focused on their education.

100 students now ride a different path to school. 🚲

At ABC Impact’s Bike2School Program, we continue to create access to education by putting students on two wheels.

At Kinana Secondary School in Arusha, 100 students received bicycles and 100 helmets, opening a new chapter in their daily journey to school. What used to be long, exhausting walks can now become faster, safer rides to the classroom.

This milestone is made possible through the continued support of Velafrica, whose partnership keeps transforming bicycles into opportunities for learning and growth.

Every bicycle delivered is more than mobility it is time gained, energy preserved, and a stronger chance for students to stay in school and succeed.
