本會以推行社區基礎建設、規劃環境保護、發揚守望相助精社、增進居民社利、建安和融洽之現代化社為會宗旨
本會任務如左：
一、關區社區之調查、設計、組織、教育、推動、幹部訓練、業務觀摩等各項事宜。
二、關於社區公共設施建設與成果維護事宜。
三、關於社區歷史、地質、人文、資源等各資料之建立事宜。
四、關於社區觀光資源之開發及環境保護計劃、推行事宜。
五、關於社區精神、倫理、文化建設推動事宜。
六、關於社區公益事業或福利服務之籌劃與執行事宜。
七、其他有關社區發展事項。
