二格山自然中心 K2 Nature Center

二格山自然中心 K2 Nature Center 本中心自2017年8月1日起歇業。

二格山自然中心(K2 Nature Center)於2001年在新北市石碇區格頭村成立，是台灣第一所由民間組織籌設經營的環境學習中心，期望透過環境教育與各種體驗活動，促進大眾對自然田野的瞭解，關心環境相關議題，積極參與改善環境的行動。目前由國際珍古德協會(Jane Goodall Institute Taiwan)管理經營，全力推動根與芽計畫(Roots & Shoots Program)。

中心在雪山山脈北稜，地質屬新生第三紀沈積砂岩，海拔高度250-500公尺之間，原始林、次生林構成屬於榕楠帶(Ficus-Machilus Zone)，因冬季東北季風盛行，有植群北降現象，所以屬亞熱帶的楠櫧林帶(Machilus-Catanopsis)也見分佈。目前為止調查結果，園區內維管束植物323種，蕨類84種，昆虫327種，兩棲爬虫類29種，哺乳類16種，鳥類21科64種，並有穿山甲、白鼻心、山羌、台灣彌猴等保育類動物，難得的是國寶級鳥類藍腹鷴亦悠遊其間。
