Buy pre-owned with peace of mind – Certified by Bosch is a digital certificate for the smart system from Bosch in pre-owned eBikes.¹ It shows you the condition of the battery and drive unit as well as key model information and provides confirmation that the eBike has not been reported as stolen.² You can easily check its authenticity by means of a QR code.

The certificate provides a digital representation of the technical condition of the smart system at the time of creation, not at the time of purchase.

² The following information is displayed: Certification information (certificate creator, creation date, certificate ID, overall star rating), eBike information (model, make, model year, total distance, and frame number), registration (confirmation that the eBike is not marked as stolen in the eBike Flow app; if the eBike is marked as stolen, no Bosch certificate will be issued. The theft status is determined solely based on reports in the eBike Flow app, and there is no comparison with police databases or other external registers.

You will also find information about whether components are locked and registered), drive unit (product name, product code, serial number, supported distance, Tuning detection—if Tuning is detected, no certificate is issued—star rating, and any potentially stored errors), battery (product name, product code, serial number, number of charge cycles, remaining capacity in percent, star rating, and any potentially stored errors), system and services (software status, star rating, and any potentially saved system errors). The star rating is based on Bosch’s own evaluation criteria.
