在時代與環境的變遷之下，全球原住民族所面臨的問題與困境幾乎大同小異。
TIEE(臺灣原住民教育經濟發展協會)希望藉由教育的紮根，發展與帶動原民文化與生活相關的產業，在經濟得以自給自足和獨立之下，繼而解決原住民族在現代社會型態下常態性存在的困境與難題。讓原民青年在教育與學習的過程當中發展專業專長，穩定之中回饋部落、關懷部落、回歸部落；讓原民文化、生活文化得以承繼，是 TIEE(臺灣原住民教育經濟發展協會)和的理念。
