中國美生總會(Grand Lodge of Free & Accepted Masons of China) 美生會（共濟會），以『友愛、共濟、真實』為根基；『節制、堅忍、審慎?

美生會的源起雖可推溯至所羅門時期，但近代直到一七一七年六月二十四日英國美生在倫敦成立了美生總會，有關美生會的各項禮儀、制度才告確定。因此可確認，美生會之歷史乃起過二百八十年以上了。
至於美生組織第一次在我國出現，則是清乾隆三十二年的廣州，英格蘭總會轄下的誼廬第407分會，當時美生仍以外籍人士為主，直到民國三十八年三月十八日，在菲律賓總會的贊助下，中國美生總會正式成立於上海。由於政局因素，民國四十年宣佈停會，而在民國四十三年總會始在台復會。四十四年十月二十八日經內政部核准成立。
