🧡【前進世界女童軍總會第39屆世界會議】

世界女童軍總會（WAGGGS）第39屆世界會議將於柬埔寨暹粒盛大舉行，本次以「We See. We Care. We Act.（洞察、關懷、行動）」為主題，來自全球111個會員組織代表齊聚，共同擘劃世界女童軍運動的未來！

本會將組成 9人代表團參與盛會，與各國夥伴交流女孩培力、青年參與、教育方案及組織發展經驗，分享臺灣女童軍的成果與能量，持續深化國際合作。

【On Our Way to the 39th WAGGGS World Conference】

From June 16–19, 2026, representatives from 111 Member Organizations will gather in Siem Reap, Cambodia, for the 39th WAGGGS World Conference under the theme “We See. We Care. We Act.” to shape the future of the global Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement.

Girl Scouts of Taiwan will be represented by a delegation of nine members, who will engage with partners from around the world, share Taiwan’s experiences in girl empowerment and youth participation, and strengthen international cooperation and friendship.

治理一個連結全球千萬名女孩的運動，需要什麼？

君維相信，答案始於傾聽——傾聽各會員組織的聲音、傾聽第一線年輕女性的需求，也傾聽每個地區所面對的不同挑戰。

自 2020 年起，君維擔任台灣女童軍國際委員會委員，並參與 WAGGGS Juliette Low Seminar 核心團隊、支援多項 WAGGGS 國際活動，也曾帶領台灣女孩參與 NGO CSW，陪伴年輕女性在國際平台上發聲。

這些經驗讓她深刻理解，真正的全球治理不只是制定方向，更是透過傾聽與連結，讓會員組織、各區域與女孩的聲音能夠被看見，並轉化為具體行動。

作為 WAGGGS 世界委員會候選人，君維致力於：
✦ 協助女孩自信面對 AI 時代
✦ 強化凝聚運動的核心活動方案

What does it take to govern a global movement of 10 million girls?

Lydia believes it starts with listening — to Member Organisations, to young women on the ground, and to the different challenges each Region faces.

Since 2020, Lydia has served on the International Committee of the Girl Scouts of Taiwan. She has also contributed to the WAGGGS Juliette Low Seminar core team, supported WAGGGS global events, and led Taiwanese girls to participate in NGO CSW, helping young women raise their voices on international platforms.

These experiences have shaped her belief that global governance is not only about setting direction. It is about listening carefully, connecting Member Organisations and Regions, and turning girls’ voices into meaningful action.

As a WAGGGS World Board member, Lydia is committed to:
✦ Helping every girl navigate the AI era with confidence
✦ Strengthening flagship programmes that unite the Movement
✦ Building partnerships that bring real resources to Member Organizations

🌏 Meet Lydia Fang｜Advocacy in Action — From Local Communities to the UN

As we continue introducing Lydia’s candidacy for the WAGGGS World Board, we want to highlight another dimension of her leadership: her hands-on experience in international advocacy.

Lydia has represented Girl Scouts of Taiwan at the UN Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) — not once, but twice.

At NGO CSW68, she took the stage to share how Girl Scouts of Taiwan empowers girls through financial literacy education, exchanging insights with WAGGGS, Girl Scouts of the USA, and the International Council of Women. The experience connected her with senior campaigners whose passion for gender equality deepened her own commitment to advocacy work.

At NGO CSW69, Lydia stepped into an even greater leadership role. She co-facilitated the session “Youth Leading the Change: Breaking Barriers, Building the Future” — co-hosted by the UN Youth Office and WAGGGS — leading discussions on the real barriers young people face in leadership and participation. At the same time, she coordinated and coached the Girl Scouts of Taiwan delegation, collaborating directly with WAGGGS and Girl Scouts of the USA.

Back home, she didn’t stop there — she organised a sharing session to inspire other young women to step into international spaces and broaden their horizons.

These experiences reflect what Lydia brings to the World Board: the ability to represent, coordinate, and amplify girls’ voices — at every level, from local communities to the global stage.

Girl Scouts of Taiwan is pleased to introduce Lydia Fang, our candidate for the WAGGGS World Board election at the 39th World Conference.

Besides, we would like to highlight one of the experiences that makes Lydia’s candidacy especially relevant to this moment: her background in climate advocacy. As a former Climate and Energy Campaigner at Greenpeace East Asia, Lydia led multi-stakeholder campaigns that connected climate change with social, economic, and intergenerational impacts. Her work involved coordinating research, public communication, media engagement, and policy advocacy — translating complex climate issues into evidence-based action for communities and decision-makers.

Lydia has also carried this experience into her WAGGGS journey. As a U4SDGs Facilitator, she mentored young leaders and shared her firsthand advocacy experience, helping more young people understand how climate action, leadership, and community impact can come together.

This experience gives Lydia a valuable perspective for WAGGGS as the Movement advances toward Compass 2032. She believes that climate change is more than an environmental issue — it is deeply connected to girls’ rights. Having a voice in environmental advocacy means an important opportunity to strengthen young women’s leadership position worldwide, and to maximize their impact in communities.

In the coming weeks, we will continue introducing Lydia’s experiences, values, and vision — and why we believe she is ready to serve every Member Organisation with courage, humility, and clarity of purpose. Let’s support Lydia — a leader with next-generation perspectives!

除了和 GSUSA 美國女童軍共同舉辦「STEM 青年參與：通往性別正義的途徑」平行會議外，代表們也在國際會議中擔任講者🎤把台灣女孩的聲音帶上世界舞台！💫

At 31, Lydia may be one of the youngest candidates, but she brings over 12 years of commitment to Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting — from a young leader finding her voice, to serving in global leadership roles across the Movement.

With experience in climate advocacy, AI and digital transformation, youth leadership, and cross-cultural collaboration, Lydia hopes to bring a next-generation perspective to WAGGGS as we move toward Compass 2032. 🌊💖【臺灣美國女童軍戶外體驗暨國際交流】💖🌊
語言不是障礙，友誼的心橋讓彼此的笑容更加燦爛🌟
我們迎來了116位熱情洋溢的小勇士，來自臺灣的66位以及美國的50位女童軍，齊聚於基隆海洋科技博物館，共同參加了一場以「愛護海洋Ocean Action」為主題的精彩戶外體驗！

活動在充滿期待的氛圍中揭開序幕！參與的小朋友不僅有機會探索海科館的奇妙展覽，瞭解海洋的奧秘，還參加了一系列趣味十足的關卡解謎活動🤔🔍
大家分成不同的小隊，互相合作，發揮創意，解開了一道道謎題，像小小探險家一樣穿梭於知識的海洋中！
更有意義的是，我們一起參加了淨灘活動，讓小朋友們體會到保護海洋的重要性。每一位參與者都手握清理工具，從沙灘上一點一滴地撿起垃圾。陽光下，夥伴們的笑聲與對話交織在一起，感受到團結合作的力量，也知道了守護我們珍貴環境的重要性💪✨
透過這次活動，大家不僅收穫了歡樂的時光，還深刻理解了「保護地球和海洋」的使命。我們一起為地球發聲，為海洋加油，讓下一代有一個更美好的未來。希望未來更多的夥伴能夠加入我們，一起為這美麗的家園努力！🌍💕
