【NTUST × OIT｜EiA 日本小谷村行動計畫】

這次 EiA 與 OIT 大阪工業大學攜手前往日本長野縣小谷村，將工程知識帶進地方，也在交流與實作中，看見工程與社區連結的更多可能。

在工作坊中，我們陪伴孩子從零開始製作屬於自己的電動車，從材料、結構到組裝與測試，讓工程不只是課本上的知識，而是能夠親手完成、實際體驗的過程。

另一項義大利麵結構承重挑戰，則是從小谷村的生活環境出發。當地冬季降雪量大，屋頂與建築必須具備足夠的承重能力，以承受積雪帶來的重量。因此，我們讓孩子利用義大利麵設計並搭建結構，在有限的材料下思考如何提升穩定性與承重能力，並透過實際測試與競賽，將結構工程的概念與自己生活的環境連結起來。

在動手實作之前，丁友教授也帶來地震、結構與地質相關的講座，讓孩子從不同角度認識建築、自然環境與工程之間的關係。我們也分享了在台灣的大學生活，透過彼此交流，讓當地學生看見不同的學習方式與未來可能。

這趟行動也不只發生在教室裡。我們來到 GS Lodge，與民宿老闆娘合作，從實體空間與數位資訊兩個面向協助民宿改善。首先，我們整理閒置的網球場，進行除草、整地與環境整理，並思考將這片空間轉型為露營地的可能性，提出初步的空間規劃與改善構想。我們也動手製作凳子，未來將放置於露營地的公共區域，提供旅客休息與交流使用。

除了空間改善，我們也協助更新 GS Lodge 的網站，重新整理網站內容與介紹資訊，讓旅客能更清楚地了解民宿及其特色；同時調整網站介面與資訊呈現方式，使整體版面更加簡潔、清楚且容易瀏覽。從實體環境到線上資訊，我們希望透過不同方式，協助 GS Lodge 為未來的發展做好準備。

從孩子們手中的電動車與義大利麵結構，到 GS Lodge 的場地整理、凳子製作、露營地規劃與網站改善，我們嘗試讓工程不只是「帶進地方的技術」，而是從地方的環境與需求出發，一起思考適合當地的解決方式。

跨越語言與文化，工程成為我們與地方交流的方式；而每一次共同動手、共同思考的過程，也讓我們看見更多改變的可能。

🇹🇼🇻🇳 2026 Engineers In Action｜Vietnam EIA × CTU Collaboration Project

經過多日準備、討論與實作，我們與越南 CTU 夥伴攜手，將工程、環境與創意轉化為校園改善。從牆面、遊戲區到雨水過濾與水耕系統，每一項成果都讓我們更加體會：工程不只是技術，更能成為改變社區的力量。

🎨 Campus Wall Painting｜校園牆面彩繪
修整並重新粉刷牆面，融入台越文化元素，讓校園更有活力，也讓文化交流走進孩子的日常。

🌱 Living Wall｜生態綠牆
完成垂直植栽與植物配置，增加校園綠意，讓學生接觸自然並認識永續。

⚽ Football Field Upgrade｜足球場改善
重新整理、彩繪並補強標線，提供孩子更安全舒適的運動空間。

🛝 Student Playground｜學生遊戲區
設計四種跳房子遊戲，讓閒置空間成為兼具趣味、學習與互動的活動場域。

🚻 Restroom Renovation｜廁所修繕
進行清潔、修繕水槽與改善照明，提升衛生、安全與使用品質。

💧 Rainwater & RO Water System｜雨水收集與過濾
建置雨水收集、RO 過濾與管線系統，實踐水資源再利用與環境教育。

🥬 Hydroponic Vegetable Rack｜水耕蔬菜架
完成支架、水管與種植系統，讓學生認識現代農業與永續水資源利用。

🎨 Wall Renovation｜校園牆面修整
清潔、修補並重新粉刷老舊牆面，延長設施使用並改善校園環境。

🤝 Taiwan × Vietnam Exchange｜台越交流
除了工程，我們也與 CTU 學生共同工作並體驗當地文化，在不同語言與文化背景下學習溝通、合作與解決問題，也建立了跨越國界的友誼。

After days of preparation and hands-on work, we joined our CTU partners in Vietnam to turn engineering, sustainability, and creativity into real improvements for the school. From campus walls and playgrounds to water systems and hydroponics, we learned that engineering is not only about technology—it can also create meaningful change in a community.

🎨 Campus Wall Painting— Repainted walls with Taiwanese and Vietnamese cultural elements, creating a more vibrant campus.

🌱 Living Wall — Added vertical greenery to connect students with nature and sustainability.

⚽ Football Field Upgrade— Renovated and repainted the field to provide a safer sports space.

🛝 Student Playground— Created four hopscotch games combining play, learning, and interaction.

🚻 Restroom Renovation — Improved cleanliness, sinks, lighting, safety, and daily usability.

💧 Rainwater & RO Water System— Installed collection, filtration, and piping systems to promote water reuse and environmental awareness.

🥬 Hydroponic Vegetable Rack— Built a hydroponic system to introduce students to modern agriculture and sustainable water use.

🎨 Wall Renovation — Repaired and repainted aging walls to improve and extend the life of school facilities.

🤝 Taiwan × Vietnam Exchange — Working and experiencing local cult

We are Team Taiwan! 🇹🇼
Together with CTU 🇻🇳, we turned ideas into action.

Xin chào！我們是 2026 EIA・CTU 小隊！

從線上會議的一張張草圖，到真正踏上越南的土地，我們終於和 CTU 的夥伴們站在同一個場域裡。這一次不只是參觀與討論，而是拿起工具，把圖面一筆一筆變成現實。

兩組分工，一個共同的目標：

工程組（Engineer Group）：敲除斑駁的舊漆、重新為層架上色，讓老舊的空間重新長出骨架。

彩繪組（Painting Group）：從足球場的重新畫線，到廁所外牆的大面彩繪，把 EIA CTU × NTUST 一筆一畫留在牆上。

而有些事，是不分組的。環境整潔全員出動；採買材料、拌土、一盆一盆把植物種下，植生牆就在所有人的手裡從一袋土慢慢長了出來。因為改造的第一步是把場地整理乾淨，而最後一步，是讓它活起來。

工程之外，是更難得的相遇。我們跟著在地朋友學做米粉、到水塘邊體驗釣魚、走進 CTU 的實驗室感受「第一次當研究生」的視角；夜裡的 Team Building，語言不通也能一起跳到笑出來，還有那杯令人念念不忘的越南蛋咖啡。

真正走進當地、動手施作、聆聽需求，我們才明白：工程從來不只是技術，而是理解一個地方之後，找到最共融的解答。

汗水、油漆和笑聲，都留在這片土地上了。夥伴們，我們還沒結束！

Xin chào! We are the 2026 EIA • CTU Team!

From sketches on a screen during our online meetings to finally setting foot in Vietnam, we're now standing on-site shoulder to shoulder with our friends from CTU. This time we're not just visiting and discussing — we picked up the tools and started turning drawings into reality.

Two groups, one goal:

Engineer Group: Chipping away the old peeling paint and repainting the shelving, giving a worn-out space its structure back.

Painting Group: From re-marking the lines on the football field to the mural on the toilet wall, stroke by stroke we left EIA CTU × NTUST on these walls.

And some things simply belong to everyone. Cleaning the site was all hands on deck. Buying the materials, mixing the soil, potting every single plant one by one — the plant wall grew out of a bag of soil through everybody's hands. Because every transformation starts with a clean site, and ends with bringing it back to life.

Beyond the engineering, there were the moments we didn't plan for. We learned to make rice noodles with our local friends, tried fishing by the pond, and stepped into CTU's labs to see what "being a graduate student for the first time" feels like. At night, Team Building proved you don't need a shared language to dance until everyone's laughing — and yes, that Vietnamese egg coffee was unforgettable.

Walking into the community, building with our own hands, and truly listening taught us this: engineering was never only about technique. It's about understanding a place first, then finding the most inclusive solution.

Sweat, paint, and laughter — all left behind on this land.

我們是2026 EIA 🇮🇩WM小隊！
現在進行的是池塘修復以及濾水系統的整修！
我們從改善池塘結構、全面升級管線系統，利用印尼當地的素材製作過濾系統，一步步進行大改造！希望優化完能夠提升池塘水質，建立一個低維護成本的水生生態系統，讓池塘生態回到最初的樣貌。
【Pond Filtration & Restoration】
We are the 2026 EIA 🇮🇩WM Team!
Currently, we are working on restoring the pond and upgrading its filtration system.
By improving the pond’s structure, completely upgrading the piping system, and building a custom filtration system using local materials, we are giving this space a major makeover step-by-step!
Once optimized, these enhancements will significantly improve water quality and establish a low-maintenance aquatic eco-system, bringing the pond‘s natural ecology back to its original state.
