【臺帛日跨國攜手！國合會技術團聯手 PCAA 與 JICA 辦理首屆學校廚師料理競賽🥘】

國合會駐帛琉技術團「強化蔬果增產促進營養均衡計畫」於 7 月 28 日首度跨單位合作，聯合帛琉社區行動局（PCAA）與日本國際協力機構（JICA），共同舉辦首屆「學校廚師料理競賽」。活動前，技術團與 JICA 合作為學校廚師提供專業培訓，深化廚師對在地蔬果特性、食品安全及幼兒膳食規劃之認識。🥬

競賽當天由 4 組參賽隊伍以示範農場直送的「茄子」為指定靈魂食材，廚師們發揮神級創意，一口氣研發出 8 道讓人垂涎三尺的營養料理！評審團由帛琉農業局長Jodean Remengesau、JICA 首席代表青木恒憲、PCAA 執行長Darren Fritz、教育部代表Mitchel Rekemsik及技術團團長蔡明哲共同擔任。私下採訪時，廚師們害羞笑說，其實前一天晚上緊張到差點失眠，但只要一踩進廚房、拿起鍋鏟，憑著對孩子們滿滿的「愛心」與對料理的熱情，廚藝魂瞬間爆發！看到大家用心做菜、為小朋友健康把關的模樣，真的超級感動🥹

賽後，主辦單位將共同發表本次競賽的 8 道創意食譜，推廣分享給帛琉當地的學校廚師，期盼透過本次競賽，共同倡議將在地新鮮蔬果融入學校營養午餐菜單，進一步促進學童膳食均衡與營養健康💪🏻

【Taiwan, Palau, and Japan Team Up! ICDF Taiwan Technical Mission, PCAA, and JICA Host 1st School Chef Cooking Competition 🇹🇼🇵🇼🇯🇵】

On July 28, the ICDF Taiwan Technical Mission’s "Fruit and Vegetable Production and Nutrition Enhancement Project" marked a major milestone by co-hosting the first-ever "School Chef Cooking Competition" alongside the Palau Community Action Agency (PCAA) and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). Prior to the event, the Taiwan Technical Mission and JICA teamed up to deliver professional training for the chefs, deepening their expertise in local produce, food safety, and early childhood meal planning.

On competition day, four teams faced off using fresh, locally grown eggplants straight from the demonstration farm as their featured ingredient. The chefs brought their culinary A-game, crafting eight mouthwatering, highly nutritious dishes!

The distinguished judging panel included Director of Agriculture Jodean Remengesau, JICA Resident Representative Aoki Tsunenori, PCAA Executive Director Darren Fritz, Ministry of Education Representative Mitchel Rekemsik, and Taiwan Technical Mission Leader Benjamin Tsai.

Behind the scenes, the chefs shyly admitted they nearly lost sleep from nervousness the night before. But the moment they stepped into the kitchen and picked up their spatulas, their passion for cooking and love for the kids took over! Watching them pour their hearts into every dish to safeguard our children’s health was truly heart-warming.

Following the competition, the organizers will jointly release a recipe book featuring all eight creative dishes to share with school chefs across Palau. Through this initiative, we hope to advocate for integrating fresh local produce into school lunch menus, fostering balanced nutrition and healthier futures for our children!

【🥛 當一滴鮮乳遇上 IoT：KesoPY 把科技送進巴拉圭酪農第一線！📡🐄】

智慧酪農，不是坐在辦公室裡看報表，而是要穿上工作鞋，走進牧場、合作社與集乳中心，看看每一滴鮮乳是如何被生產、保存與送上餐桌！🚜🌱

7月15日至16日，TaiwanICDF駐巴拉圭技術團透過 FOMIPYMES計畫，攜手巴拉圭工商部（MIC）、巴拉圭生產合作社聯合總會（FECOPROD），前往卡瓜蘇省Raúl Arsenio Oviedo地區，深入酪農生產單位及集乳中心，實地了解乳品生產、設備運作、低溫保存、品質管理與數位化需求。

這次下鄉的主角，除了認真工作的酪農與乳牛，還有一位「不會累、也不會忘記紀錄」的智慧好夥伴——KesoPY乳品數位管理平台與IoT感測系統！🤖🥛

透過感測器與數位平臺，KesoPY可以協助乳製合作社：
🌡️ 即時掌握鮮乳保存環境條件
🧾 記錄每次鮮乳接收與生產者歷史資料
🔍 建立乳品來源與品質追溯資訊

【🥛 When a Drop of Fresh Milk Meets IoT: KesoPY Brings Technology to the Front Lines of Paraguay’s Dairy Sector! 📡🐄】

Smart dairy farming is not about sitting in an office and reviewing reports. It means putting on work boots and going directly to farms, cooperatives, and milk collection centers to understand how every drop of fresh milk is produced, preserved, and delivered to consumers. 🚜🌱

On July 15–16, the TaiwanICDF Technical Mission in Paraguay, through the FOMIPYMES Project, joined forces with Paraguay’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce (MIC) and the Federation of Production Cooperatives (FECOPROD) for a field mission to the Raúl Arsenio Oviedo District in Caaguazú Department.

The team visited dairy farms and milk collection centers to gain first-hand insight into milk production, equipment operation, cold-chain management, quality control, and digitalization needs.

In addition to hardworking dairy farmers—and, of course, the cows—the mission featured another reliable partner that never gets tired and never forgets to record data: the KesoPY digital dairy management platform and IoT sensor system! 🤖🥛

Through sensors and digital tools, KesoPY helps dairy cooperatives:
🌡️ Monitor fresh milk storage conditions in real time
🧾 Record milk deliveries and maintain producer histories
🔍 Build traceability records for milk origin and quality
📊 Automatically generate management reports
🤝 Strengthen technical assistance provided to dairy farmers
💰 Build reliable data for future access to financing and markets

In other words, every drop of fresh milk carries not only its rich flavor, but also its own “digital record.” The data collected through KesoPY can help improve product quality, strengthen management efficiency, and create new opportunities for financing and market access.

The technical team also visited five dairy production units participating in the pilot program. Each visit provided a clearer understanding of the farmers’ infrastructure, equipment, production capacity, milk preservation practices, and technical assistance needs.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution in smart agriculture. Meaningful digital transformation must begin with farmers’ real working conditions and everyday needs. 👨‍🌾👩‍🌾

Alongside the field visits, the team organized a training session on KesoPY and its IoT system. Paraguay’s Ministry of Industry and Commerce introduced participants to MIPYMES registration, training opportunities, and financing instruments. FECOPROD shared technical knowledge on milk hygiene, bacterial counts, somatic cells, fat and protein content, quality certification, and market access.

The activity concluded with the presentation of certificates, recognizing the dairy farmers’ commitment to continuous learning and improving milk quality. 🎓👏
For TaiwanICDF, the heart of smart dairy development is not simply about “installing a sensor.” It is about making technology a practical tool that rural producers can use every day:

【跨越14,455公里，貝里斯學員的專科醫師淬鍊之路👣】

為協助貝里斯培育專科醫事人才，國合會攜手亞東紀念醫院分別與中華民國放射線醫學會及內科醫學會推動3年專科醫師養成訓練，包括2位醫師接受放射專科及2醫師接受內科專科醫師訓練，實踐Taiwan Can Help的精神💕

轉眼間，4位學員來臺訓練已超過500個日子，從初期面對陌生語言、醫療環境與臨床挑戰時的忐忑，到如今逐步掌握專業技能，展現專科醫師養成的成長軌跡。放射科學員在CT與MRI影像判讀病灶中有著精準敏銳度，內科學員則積極參與查房與病人照護，嚴謹的學習態度與專業表現獲得院方高度肯定😎

這段過程中，除了醫療知識的傳授，更有跨越語言與在地文化的陪伴。面對臨床溝通挑戰，亞東的指導醫師善用AI翻譯工具協助教學，並透過耐心引導建立臨床思維，讓專業傳承在溫暖互動中持續發生。未來，4位學員將迎接社區病房、急診及超音波等進階訓練，持續累積臨床經驗，期盼將在臺灣習得的專業帶回貝里斯，成為提升家鄉醫療量能的重要力量💪🏻

【Across 14,455 km: A Belizean Doctor’s Journey to Becoming a Specialist】

To assist Belize in cultivating medical specialists, TaiwanICDF has partnered with Far Eastern Memorial Hospital, alongside the Radiological Society of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and the Taiwan Society of Internal Medicine, to implement a three-year specialist physician training program. This initiative includes training two physicians in radiology and two in internal medicine, embodying the spirit of "Taiwan Can Help."

In the blink of an eye, these four trainees have been training in Taiwan for over 500 days. Moving past the initial anxiety of facing unfamiliar languages, medical environments, and clinical challenges, they have progressively mastered professional skills, reflecting the impressive growth trajectory of specialist training. The radiology trainees have developed keen precision in diagnosing lesions through CT and MRI interpretation, while the internal medicine trainees actively participate in ward rounds and patient care—their rigorous learning attitude and professional excellence earning high praise from hospital leadership.

Throughout this journey, beyond the transfer of medical expertise, there has been a warm presence bridging language and cultural differences. To overcome clinical communication challenges, clinical instructors at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital thoughtfully utilized AI translation tools and patient guidance to build clinical reasoning, allowing professional knowledge to be passed down through warm, supportive interactions. Moving forward, the four trainees will embark on advanced training in community wards, emergency medicine, and ultrasound, continuously honing their clinical experience. They look forward to bringing the expertise acquired in Taiwan back home to Belize, serving as a vital force in strengthening their nation's healthcare capacity.

國合會自8月1日啟動「0728日本熊本震災募款專案」，目前已邁入第三天。為了解募款專線運作情形，國合會秘書長黃玉霖博士今日特地率領國合會同仁前往1988專線客服中心視察，實地關心民眾來電受理及整體服務情形👫

本次募款專案由1988專線客服中心協助受理民眾來電諮詢，並由程曦集團負責客服營運與人力調度，提供專業且即時的諮詢服務。黃秘書長除聽取客服中心就專線受理情形及整體作業流程所作簡報外，也與程曦集團黃士軍董事長及其率領的客服團隊進行交流，隨後親自走訪客服中心，了解民眾來電諮詢及案件處理流程📞

【Secretary General Huang Yu-Lin Visits the 1988 Call Center and Expresses Appreciation to CH Group for Supporting the Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Fundraising Campaign🤝🏻】

The TaiwanICDF launched the "0728 Kumamoto Earthquake Relief Fundraising Campaign" on August 1, and the campaign has now entered its third day. To better understand the operation of the fundraising hotline, Secretary General Dr. Yu-Lin Huang led the TaiwanICDF colleagues on a visit to the 1988 Call Center to observe its operations and learn about how public inquiries are being handled.

For this fundraising campaign, the 1988 Call Center is responsible for handling public inquiries, while Chain Sea Information Group provides call center operations and staffing support to ensure timely and professional customer service. During the visit, Secretary General Dr. Huang received a briefing on hotline operations and workflow, met with Chain Sea Information Group Chairman David Huang and his team, and express appreciation for the dedication of frontline staff and to learn more about the inquiry-handling process.

Secretary General Dr. Huang thanked Chain Sea Information Group and the 1988 Call Center team for their wholehearted support of the fundraising campaign. Their professionalism and commitment have enabled the TaiwanICDF to provide timely and efficient assistance to the public, ensuring that donations can be made smoothly. Through this public-private partnership, Taiwan continues to demonstrate its compassion and solidarity with the people of Kumamoto, Japan, following the devastating earthquake.

【自245人中脫穎而出！6位國合會校園大使正式誕生！🎉】

「《我的國合會見習日記－30周年特輯》校園大使甄選活動」，歷經初、複及決選三階段重重考驗，今天6位同學從245位優秀報名者中脫穎而出，獲選成為國合會的校園大使，其中，3位將前往非洲友邦史瓦帝尼、另3位則將前往加勒比海友邦聖露西亞展開海外見習。

今天共有16位優秀同學站上決選舞臺，每位參賽者皆針對自己最想前往的合作國家提出海外見習計畫提案，透過10分鐘簡報，分享對國際發展合作的理解，以及如何運用青年視角與影音創作，向更多人分享臺灣援外的故事。精彩的簡報中，看得出每位同學都做足了準備，創新的企劃構想及優異的表達能力，充分展現青年世代對國際發展合作的熱情與潛力。

由於參賽者整體表現亮眼、實力相當，各具特色，考量多位參賽者表現優異、難分軒輊，經評審團慎重討論後，決定由原規劃錄取的4位外，增額錄取2位，最終選出6位兼具國合會理念認同、赴外熱忱、企劃洞察與社群轉譯能力，以及良好表達力的6位校園大使。

接下來，6位校園大使將接受專業培訓，並於8月中旬前往史瓦帝尼、聖露西亞，深入國合會駐外技術團第一線，拍攝《我的國合會見習日記－30周年特輯》，讓我們一起期待他們透過鏡頭，記錄臺灣參與國際發展合作的故事，讓更多人看見臺灣在世界各地耕耘的成果。
