Rotaract Club of Taipei 台北扶青社

Rotaract Club of Taipei 台北扶青社 Rotaract stands for Rotary in Action. It is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women. We are the first English-speaking Rotaract club in Taiwan.

We typically host events twice a month, announced on our page. Chartered on Dec 5, 1997, the Rotaract Club of Taipei is the brainchild of the Rotary Club of Taipei, Taiwan's first Rotary Club chartered in 1948 and Taipei's sole English-speaking Rotary Club. As such, the Rotaract Club of Taipei aspired to be Taipei's first bilingual Rotaract Club functioning in English and Chinese. For years, howev

er, we have been following our sponsoring club conducting meetings in English only. Our club consists of college students and young professionals from a wide range of industries and academic backgrounds. The cultural and ethnic diversity in our club provides us with the privilege of coordinating events that accommodate diverse needs and multiple cultures. Remarkable past events include voluntary service at the Clean Up the World event, Animals Taiwan and Sunshine Foundation, the annual English Speech Contest (ESSC) hosted by our mother club, guest speeches given by industry leaders, and many other laudable events and service projects. As the purpose and goals of Rotaract go, we continue to enhance personal development, address the physical and social needs of the communities, and promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. We aim to accomplish these goals in an environment that promotes mutual respect and understanding through the fostering of long-lasting friendships. There are currently 14 members in the Rotaract Club of Taipei. We welcome more people to join us and contribute to the valuable heterogeneity that stimulates the growth and development of each Rotaractor.

A day by the ocean, with purpose. 🌱🌊

Join us as we take part in the Annual Fulong Beach Cleanup — contributing to a larger community effort to restore Taiwan’s coastline.

We’ll spend a few hours making a real impact, then enjoy the rest of the afternoon exploring Fulong, relaxing by the beach, or riding along scenic trails.

🌏✨ Where cultures connect and traditions come alive!

The Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Comito, together with the Rotaract Club of Taipei, proudly hosted an international cultural exchange celebrating heritage, identity, and rituals across borders.

It was a joyful evening filled with stories, performances, and heartfelt conversations 💬🎶. We experienced unity in diversity, strengthened bonds of friendship, and discovered how culture can bring communities closer 🤝💖.
