We will have a joint meeting with KPMG Taiwan Toastmasters Club on Friday (6/5). The meeting theme is
“Your Work Philosophy”

The movies The Devil Wears Prada 1 and 2 reflect different people’s work philosophies.

Some people believe work should be meaningful and change the world (like Andy?). Some treat work as their highest priority in life (like Miranda?). Some immerse themselves in their craft and take on a mentor role (like Nigel?). What about you?

Do you have a work philosophy you've always believed in — and has it ever changed? Do you have any unique perspectives you'd like to share with us?

Welcome to join this meeting and share your thoughts and perspectives on work philosophy with us!

Our TME is Wilson from KPMG
- Tonight's Timer is our new member Isabel. This will be her first role in Toastmasters, let's cheer for her (Sally cheer)
- Aaron Lin will be delivery his last pathway speech - Reflection on Your Path speech. Can't wait to hear his speech.
- Naomi Lin will be our Table Topics Session Master. Please tell her don't ask difficult question, and please don't call me.
- Jonathan will be our GE for the night. Hope he will do a good job.
- Berry Hsieh will be our IE and evaluate Lina's speech

Prestige Toastmasters Pickleball Outing 5/23/2026🎾

This was our very first pickleball outing, and it turned out to be such a fun and refreshing experience for everyone.😽

It’s been a stressful yet remarkable year. Growing the club, supporting and motivating new members, and competing in speech contests together. After all the hard work, it was finally time to relax, play, and simply enjoy each other’s company. 🫶🤟

After a quick warm-up session and a few practice rallies with Jonathan, everyone was ready to hit the court and experience the excitement of pickleball.👊

A big thank you to our friends from Division C and fellow Toastmasters clubs for joining us and making the event even more memorable:

Prestige Toastmasters Pickleball Outing — 2026/5/23

這是我們第一次舉辦 Pickleball outing
原本以為只是輕鬆打個球，結果大家打到滿場跑 笑到停不下來，隔天順便一起獲得全身痠痛成就。

這一年對大家來說可說是又忙又精彩。
我們努力經營 club、鼓勵新會員、備戰各種演講比賽，每個人都像在打另一種「人生錦標賽」。
所以這次，我們先把計時燈和講稿放一邊，改拿球拍上場。

在簡單暖身以及 Jonathan 的快速教學後，大家從「Pickleball 是什麼？」很快進化成：
「這球算我的！」
「剛剛那球界內啦！」
「再一局就好！」

也非常感謝來自 Division C 的朋友與各 Toastmasters clubs 一起加入，讓這場活動變得更熱鬧、更有趣：

Dear Toastmasters Fellows and Friends,

We will have a joint meeting with the KPMG TW Toastmasters Club this Friday night (5/8) @ 7pm. The meeting theme is
“From Club to Champion.”

Every achievement starts from a small beginning. A confident speaker once struggled with nervousness. A leader once doubted whether they were capable enough. Even champions begin as beginners, learning through practice, failure, persistence, and courage.

Sometimes the greatest victory is not winning a trophy, but discovering that we are capable of more than we once believe. Have you ever achieved something you once thought was impossible? We invite each of you to reflect on your own experience and share your story with us.

Bill Huang from Prestige Toastmasters has won 1st Place 🥇 in the 2025–26 District 67 International Speech Contest!

It has been an incredible journey for Bill filled with ups and downs. Still in the end, he rose above every challenge and shined on stage exactly as he was meant to.

Let’s congratulate him and give him the biggest round of applause for this outstanding performance and achievement! 👏

Bill will now represent Taiwan’s District 67 in the Regional Semifinals. Let’s wish him the very best of luck! 👍🍀

We will celebrate all together soon! 🥳
