社團法人台灣失能者協會為民國100年新成立之協會，以服務各類失能者，並促進其權益與福利為宗旨。失能者之定義，應不分年齡、類別，只要是功能有問題而需要長期支持照護者，包括失智者、精神病、發展遲緩、身心障礙等所有患者。
