🌏 TIFA Taipei Team Initiative
Since its founding, TIFA (Taiwan International Friendship Association) has followed a simple strategy: Kaohsiung Roots, Taipei Expansion.
Over the past year, Kaohsiung has served as our primary hub for events, membership engagement, and community development, while Taipei has focused on administration, government relations, international partnerships, and northern Taiwan development.
Today, we are excited to announce that TIFA's Taipei administrative office has been officially secured, marking the beginning of a new chapter for TIFA in northern Taiwan.
🚀 Taipei Will Become TIFA's Second Engine of Growth
Since April, TIFA has officially begun hosting events and recruiting members in Taipei.
Our vision is to build a strong dual-city model between Kaohsiung and Taipei, enabling TIFA to expand its impact across Taiwan while fulfilling our mission of connecting Taiwan with the world.

We aim to create meaningful connections between local and international communities through cultural exchange, friendship, education, and public engagement.
📍 What's Next for Taipei?
Moving forward, we plan to host at least two regular events per month in Taipei:
☕ Social Gathering & Cultural Exchange
A relaxed and welcoming event designed to bring together people from different nationalities, cultures, and professional backgrounds, helping them build friendships, expand their networks, and feel more connected to life in Taiwan.
🎤 TIFA Talks & Workshop Series
A knowledge-sharing and discussion-based event covering topics such as life in Taiwan, career development, entrepreneurship, cross-cultural communication, education, social impact, ESG, public affairs, and other issues relevant to the international community.
In addition to these regular events, in Taipei we will gradually expand our efforts in:
• Podcast and media production
• Hosting international visitors and delegations
• International exchange and collaboration projects
• Partnerships with NGOs, universities, chambers of commerce, and government agencies
• Community service and educational initiatives
• ESG and social responsibility projects
• Support programs for international residents in Taiwan
Our goal is for Taipei to become more than simply an event venue. We envision it as an important center for international collaboration, talent development, community building, and organizational growth.
🤝 Building the TIFA Taipei Core Team
With TIFA's Taipei administrative office now established, we are officially launching the formation of the TIFA Taipei Core Team.
We are looking for people who are willing to contribute their time, energy, ideas, and experience to help build something meaningful.
As we often say:
"TIFA has never lacked ideas. What we lack are people who have ideas and are willing to execute them."
We value people who are willing to collaborate, take initiative, and turn ideas into action.
During the initial phase of building the Taipei team, we will invite experienced board members and core leaders from southern Taiwan to participate, share their experiences, and help establish operational processes, event planning practices, and team culture.
We believe that through collaboration and knowledge sharing between our northern and southern teams, the Taipei team will be able to grow more quickly while developing its own unique identity and leadership style.
In the long run, our goal is for the Taipei team to build its own leadership structure, independently plan and execute activities, and work closely with Kaohsiung and other regional teams to support TIFA's nationwide growth.

Over the coming weeks, we will begin hosting small working meetings at our Taipei office to discuss future initiatives, build the TIFA Taipei Core Team, and explore new opportunities to strengthen TIFA's presence and impact in northern Taiwan.
These gatherings will provide an opportunity for members to connect, exchange ideas, and contribute to shaping the future direction of TIFA Taipei.
