2026 Ocean Action Symposium 邀請學界、政府、產業與 NGO 齊聚一堂，透過 1 場 Keynote、4 場主題論壇、1 場圓桌對談共同探討:
🔹 離岸風電與再生能源的臺灣及國際實務經驗
🔹 如何基礎設施化海洋知識，數據資料庫的建立及運用
🔹 開發下的海洋生態監測與生物多樣性保育的最新進展
🔹 如何打造更具韌性的海洋治理來推動藍色經濟
從離岸風電、海洋空間規劃、海洋生態監測，到生物多樣性保育與藍色經濟，科學研究如何提供決策者做出更具前瞻性的政策？如何透過跨領域的研究及倡議合作，共同形塑臺灣海洋的永續未來？
我們希望 2026 Ocean Action Symposium 不只是一場單向的知識分享，更是一次共同思考的機會：在快速發展的海域中，如何以科學為基礎、以合作為力量，航向永續的海洋未來。
今年，我們特別邀請離岸風電開發業者分享臺灣及國際推動再生能源的實務經驗，也邀請海洋保育、生態監測、海洋空間規劃等領域的研究者，共同探討如何以科學為基礎，提供必要的海洋資源利用及開發中生物多樣性保育及永續發展。
論壇也邀請了來自法國、巴西、印尼的學者，分享不同國家在海洋治理、政策制定、保育管理及藍色經濟發展上的經驗，期待透過跨國交流，激發更多創新思維與合作契機。

Our oceans are changing.
As the ways we use ocean resources keep shifting and resource development shows no sign of slowing down, both Taiwan's waters and oceans worldwide are caught at a critical crossroads: rapid development on one side, mounting ecological pressure on the other.
Are we ready for this?
The 2026 Ocean Action Symposium brings together academia, government, industry, and NGOs for 1 keynote, 4 thematic panels, and a roundtable discussion, covering:
🔹 Offshore wind and renewable energy — practical experience from Taiwan and abroad
🔹 Building ocean knowledge infrastructure — establishing and applying data systems
🔹 The latest in ecological monitoring and biodiversity conservation amid ongoing development
🔹 Building more resilient ocean governance to drive the Blue Economy
From offshore wind development to ecological monitoring, biodiversity conservation, and the blue economy, how can scientific research provide policymakers with accurate information for making forward-looking decisions? How can transdisciplinary research and collaborative advocacy help shape a sustainable future for Taiwan's oceans?
The 2026 Ocean Action Symposium will be, rather than a one-way transfer of knowledge, a chance to think together: how do we navigate toward a sustainable ocean future in rapidly developing waters, grounded in science and powered by collaboration?
This year, we've invited offshore wind developers to share their hands-on experience advancing renewable energy in Taiwan and internationally, alongside researchers in marine conservation, ecological monitoring, and cultural keystone places, to explore how science and environmental humanities can support the ocean resource use, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable development that ongoing marine development demands.
The symposium also welcomes scholars from France, Brazil, and Indonesia, who will share their countries' experiences in ocean governance, policymaking, conservation management, and blue economy development to foster cross-border exchange and sparking new ideas and opportunities for collaboration.
