Taiwanese cinema continues to make waves on the international stage!

The 74th San Sebastian International Film Festival (SSIFF) is rolling out its official selection, and we are thrilled to announce that two Taiwanese filmsโWill You Still Be My Friend and Dustโhave been selected for different sections.

Director Lu Po-shunโs feature debut, Will You Still Be My Friend, has been officially selected for the New Directors competitionโcurrently the only Taiwanese film in this section this year!

Co-invested by Kaohsiung Film Fund and TAICCA, the film also previously participated in TAICCA School's 2023 Ties That Bind workshop. It has continued to gain steady momentum on the international industry circuit this year, earning selections at major project markets including EFM's "Far East in Progress WIP", HAF WIP in Hong Kong, and the Marchรฉ du Film's "Goes to Cannes." Building on this growing international attention, it now takes the stage at San Sebastiรกn.

A Taiwan-Spain co-production, Dust has been selected for the Zabaltegi-Tabakalera section. Following its recent selection for the Out of Competition lineup at the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, the film has now earned recognition from two of Europe's top-tier festivals.
