丹納絲颱風肆虐後，頂山滿目瘡痍——樹倒了、鐵捲門歪了、屋頂掀了、門窗破了，連戶外的棲地設施也重傷。但最讓人動容的，是來自台灣各地、素未謀面的朋友們，在第一時間與我們的志工們一同投入災後復健。
就在這樣克難的環境中，我們仍咬牙完成了由兆豐銀行贊助的「永續發展科普教育」夏令營，7月26日一整天活動，順利圓滿！
我們始終相信，風雨過後，不只是建築會重建，人的心也會更加堅定。這場風災帶來創傷，也帶來了人與人之間最溫柔的連結。

After Typhoon Danas tore through Dingshan, the scene was heartbreaking—rolling shutters twisted, rooftops blown off, windows shattered, and even our outdoor habitat facilities left in ruins. But what touched us the most were the countless strangers from all over Taiwan who showed up, shoulder to shoulder with our volunteers, to help rebuild.
Amid these rough conditions, we still managed to complete our “Sustainable Science Education” summer camp, proudly sponsored by Mega Bank, on July 26.
We’ve always believed: while typhoons may bring destruction, the recovery journey makes us stronger. And sometimes, in the wake of a storm, we find the most beautiful connections between people.

因丹娜絲颱風重創頂山里，至今仍未復電；今日更遭遇豪雨與鄰近塑膠工廠火警所引發的濃煙襲擊，整個頂山里、我們的會館與頂山棲地，都百廢待興．在這樣的狀況下，我們決定先暫停夏候鳥繁殖的精彩回顧影片。待環境逐步修復、供電恢復後，我們會再視情況評估直播是否重啟。
謝謝大家一路以來的關心與支持，願我們都能迎來平安的重啟時刻。
Due to the severe damage caused by Typhoon Danas, power has yet to be restored in Dingshan Village. Today, the situation worsened with heavy rain and thick smoke from a nearby plastic factory fire. The entire village, our BFSA, and Dingshan habitat, and are now in a state of disarray and recovery. Under these circumstances, we’ve decided to temporarily pause the highlight videos of the shorebird nesting cam. Once the environment stabilizes and electricity is restored, we will reassess whether to resume the livestream.
Thank you all for your continued care and support. We hope for a safe and steady recovery ahead.
