D.R.A.L.是由三個在加州柏克萊大學唸書的大學生成立。發起人李芃諭、吳孝謙、卓柏廷發覺在年紀相仿的朋友中，有太多有才華、有熱情、有理想的人，能激發我們。因此，我們相信，每個人心中都有那麼一部分特別的自己，能夠影響別人、啓發他人，就像無形的骨牌一樣。
同樣都是台灣背景，我們發覺台灣高中生缺少一個與海內外傑出青年溝通的平台，於是決定提供這樣的舞台，結集有理想的傑出青年，共同為台灣的高中生盡一份力。身為的過來人，青年們雖然沒有足夠的社會經驗，但對高中生，他們卻是最熱情、最具影響力的一群人。特別是在求學過程中，我們都需要一位過來人來點醒我們、啟發我們、或建議我們下一步該怎麼走。曾經，那些人存在；而現在，也是時候讓我們結集更多的青年回饋給別人。
