Accelerate global action to enhance the climate resilience of coral reefs.
A framework for national, regional, and international coral reef monitoring systems was discussed. The final decision was to encourage States to voluntarily share data with the monitoring network to promote informed decision-making. However, there was still disagreement on whether this framework could facilitate evidence-based informed decision-making.
The discussion also addressed whether the funding sources for enhancing coral reef climate resilience should flow from developed nations to developing nations, or if funding should only be provided by countries with the capacity to do so. Furthermore, some representatives proposed that support funding should be limited to coral reef actions in developing countries.
Finally, representatives of all nations also requested that UNEP strengthen the national coordination and knowledge sharing among Member States regarding coral reef protection and restoration.

構國家、區域與國際珊瑚礁監測系統的貢獻框架，這當中是否應該參考全球珊瑚礁監測網路，最後的決議是鼓勵各國自願分享數據在監測網路，以促進知情決策。但在針對是否能夠進行基於證據的知情決策仍然意見分歧。
同時也討論了在提升珊瑚礁的氣候適應能力的資金來源是否應該從發達國家流向發展中國家？亦或者僅有有能力的國家進行？另一方面也有代表提出應該將支持資金限制在發展中國家的珊瑚礁行動上。
最後各國代表也向UNEP提出請求，加強各成員國在珊瑚礁保護與恢復的國家協調與知識共享。
