▧ 2022台灣模擬世界衛生組織會議
【活動主旨】
Taiwan WHO Simulation （台灣模擬世界衛生組織會議）旨在培養參與學生的國際視野以及對公衛議題的認識。本活動將引入國際性組織之正式會議規範、以公衛議題為核心，讓參與學生站在各方立場進行辯論，藉以了解公衛議題的複雜性，並培養在國際舞台上為代表方發聲的能力。我們期望延續台灣模擬世界衛生組
織的優良傳統，以亞太地區領頭羊的角色繼續促進學生在公衛議題上進行交流與對話，達到「Work together, health is around the corner.」的目標。
【活動簡述】
為培養台灣學生的國際視野並提供國際層級的公衛交流平台，於 2015 年與 2017 年陸續舉辦了兩屆台灣模擬世界衛生組織會議。而今在全球疫情下，公衛議題討論的重要性不言而喻，故於 2022 年將以「Work together, health is around the corner.」為旨，舉行第三屆會議，期望提升參與學生對醫藥衛生領域的認識與重視，進而學習在國際舞台為台灣發聲的能力。

社團法人台灣醫學生聯合會（FMS-Taiwan）致力於提升醫學生的國際參與及醫藥衛生議題審議能力，並曾多次舉辦國際會議如2002年、2014年和2019年GA（世界醫學生聯盟大會）、2015年ACTION及全亞首屆WHO Stimulation、2016年EAMSC（東亞醫學生會議），2017 SRT（Sub-Regional Training in Taiwan）。在未來，我們期望能持續促進臺灣醫學生針對國際公衛議題進行更多學術交流與合作對話，進而積極推動社會參與的責任感、擴大影響力、擴增思想深度與廣度。
【活動摘要】
1. 正式會議：由代表將扮演國家或非政府組織等角色，於會議中深入討論並表決大會議題相關之議案。
2. 會外活動：緊扣大會議題，舉辦專題演講、記者會、非政府組織博覽會，旨在提供會議以外的視角，向國內外專家學習、或透過相關組織及研究單位的攤位深入認識大會議題。
3. 晚間活動：包含開幕式、閉幕式、以及社交活動。於每日會議結束後享受台灣味的餐點、放鬆情緒、並結交來自全台各校系的朋友。

▧ 2022 Taiwan WHO Simulation
【Background Information】
2022 Taiwan WHO Simulation will be held at Taichung City, Taiwan from July 18th-22th in 2022, modeling the WHA (World Health Assembly) and its regional meetings. This event will introduce the formal meeting norms of international organizations, allowing participants to discuss, debate, and further reflect on current or underlying public health issues. We hope to continue the fine tradition of modeling the World Health Organization in Taiwan, while proceeding to promote public communication and dialogue on various health issues and hot topics, and at last, achieving the goal of "Work together, health is around the corner."
【Who are WE】
We are Taiwan WHO Simulation Organizing Committee, FMS-Taiwan (Federation of Medical Students-Taiwan). FMS-Taiwan is experienced in holding official international conferences, namely: the first domestic 2015 WHO Simulation in Asia, 2002, 2014, and 2019 GA (General Assembly), 2015 ACTION, 2016 EAMSC (East-Asian Medical Students' Conference), 2017 SRT (Sub-Regional Training) in Taiwan. We aim for a wider students’ participations and realizations toward international health-related issues and organizations.
【Problem Awareness】
Taiwan requires more medical-related experts who could be engaged and knowledgeable about international health organizations and efforts. This stems from the concern that most Taiwanese medical students are not aware of the impact the WHO and other international organizations have on global healthcare. Also, with the new epidemic outbreaking frequently and recently, the importance of understanding the danger of communicable diseases can’t be emphasized more. Thus, we designed the Taiwan WHO Simulation in order to tackle this problem.
【About Academic Conference】
Academic conference will be conducted in the format of common western formal conferences.
1. Plenaries：Discussion of the exacutive matters and competition.
2. RegionalMeeting：Discussion of common decisions to form the general resolution of this topics.
3. ExpertKeynoteSpeech：Experts from all over the world are invited to deliver their speech related to our topics.
4. NGOSession：Setting for invited NGOs and pharmaceutical corporations to state their stances in the conference.
