✨【 Love & Growth: My 3D Adventure】✨

The three-day VBS last week was a success! 🎉

The children worshipped, listened to Bible stories, did crafts, and played games. They learned about God’s love through laughter and shared activities. They also learned to love themselves and others. 💛

With God’s love, may each child keep growing and show love in their lives! 🌱

✨【8/16 Sunday Service 回顧｜Disconnected Desires 脫節的渴望】

我們是否也曾「看起來很敬虔」，卻不小心讓自己的渴望與神的心意脫節？

以賽亞書58章提醒我們：神所看重的，我也要看重；祂渴望我們去愛貧窮和有需要的人，成為祝福、重新連結這個世界的人。

主日信息之後，我們也一起透過「傳福音訓練」學習分享生命故事，操練活出大使命的呼召。❤️

願我們不只是聽見神的心意，更願意走出去，渴望祂所渴望的，成為祂手中的祝福！

✨ 【 8/16 Sunday Service Recap | Disconnected Desires 】

Have we ever “appeared very godly,” yet unintentionally allowed a disconnect between our desires and God’s will?

Isaiah 58 reminds us that we should desire whatever God desires. He longs for us to love the weak and those in need, to become a blessing and people who help reconnect the world.

After the sermon, in Evangelism Training we learned to share our life’s story, and we practiced living out the calling of the Great Commission. ❤️

Let’s not just hear God’s will but be willing to desire what he desires and become a blessing in his hands!

📌Sermon Title: Disconnected Desires (Unshaken part 7)
講道主題：脫節的渴望（永不動搖 單元7）

📌Description: God's people thought they were doing the right thing, but they totally missed God's desire. In Isaiah's prophecy in Isaiah 58, God reveals he sees their violence and hypocrisy, all coming from their selfish desires. God invites us to desire what He desires, and even makes a great promise if we choose to change.
敘述：神的百姓自以為他們做了對的事，但其實他們完全與神的心意脫節。在以賽亞書第58章的預言中，神顯示了祂看見以色列人因著他們的私慾，而做出暴力和虛僞的事。神邀請我們來渴望祂所想要的；祂甚至賜下應許，如果我們願意作改變，將會蒙受極大的福分。

📌Scripture focus: Isaiah 58
經文聚焦：以賽亞書 第58章

📌Overview:
1. We look religious on the outside, but on the inside, we follow our own selfish desires.
2. Thus, we are disconnected from God’s desires.
3. God desires a reconnected world: Hungry with food, naked with clothes, families together again.
4. God invites us to desire what He desires.
5. What's important to God is important to me.
6. If we desire what He desires, we live out our identity as blessers. Then our Fatherly Blesser is more able to bless us!
7. So, will you desire what God desires? GO, bless and reconnect the world!
8. Application: Repent of selfish desires. Desire what God desires -> Love the poor and needy.

1. 我們的外表看似敬虔，但内心常常追求那自私的慾望。
2. 因此，我們就與神的心意脫節了。

從西希家王的故事中，我們學習放下對自己能力的倚靠，回轉向神、信靠祂的拯救。

From King Hezekiah’s story, we learned to stop relying on our own strength, turn back to God, and trust in his salvation.

📌Overview: When the Assyrian army came to Jerusalem, Hezekiah had tried EVERYTHING other than trusting in the Lord to protect his people. However, when he finally prayed the Lord with Isaiah, God did an incredible miracle to save them!
概述：當亞述的大軍臨到耶路撒冷城下時，西希家王想盡辦法來保護他的百姓，就是忘了倚靠神。然而，當他到最後和以賽亞一起向神呼求的時候，神行了一個無比奇妙的神蹟來拯救他們。

📌Application: It can be so tempting to trust our own strength or ability to save ourselves. God knows that our trusting in him is a process and we will not be perfect in our faith. Even if trusting in God is your last option, it is always the best option.
