「臺灣原生山茶文化學會」是以非營利為目的之社會團體，立案宗旨為：結合產官學推廣臺灣原生山茶教育文化之展演、聯誼、觀摩、進修研討等活動；以科學方法接受原生山茶專業製作、研究、協助鑑定等工作之委託及探討；結合原生山茶與原住民茶文化、現代茶文化之交流，並提升製作水準與產業效益；促進國際茶文化與產業之合作及交流事項；研擬出版原生山茶文化相關刊物等。

歡迎喜好茶道、茶藝相關，包括學術、製作、品茗、文化等，尤其是對臺灣原生山茶有興趣的社會各界人士參加入會。
