德水園身心障礙教養院

德水園身心障礙教養院 提供年齡18歲以上，領有身心障礙證明中度以上身心障礙者照顧、教保等服務。

德水園身心障礙教養院係為台中市東勢區耆老吳德水先生遺囑捐贈之土地（東勢區石圍牆小段八○八之七號；東勢區東蘭路二一二號旁）（基地面積為○、九九一八公頃，與東勢卓蘭市區僅離6公里，與豐原市區約計二十五分路程）。

吳德水原為重度身體障礙者於省立豐原醫院治療，卻受限醫療保健限制無法長期於醫院中進行治療與照護，但離開醫院後又無任何身心障礙機構可提供收容，因此在許國敏院長（當時省立豐原醫院院長）的穿針引線下捐贈土地，另亦在徐中雄立法委員(現任台中市副市長)之努力下協調整合各方意見及爭取中央興建補助經費，期許規劃為提供照顧、醫療、復健及訓練等多功能之身心障礙者收容安置場所。
