財團法人覺心社會福利慈善基金會正式成立於2004年3月，由鄭載儒先生發起，是一公益性的國際組織，以非營利之慈善事業為目標。基金會的成立是以宏揚佛陀救人博愛的精神為依歸，實踐關懷生命、溫暖人間、和諧社會，結合企業及社會大眾的力量，協助政府推行關懷社會福利，不分國界共同濟助弱勢團體。
