鹿港遏雲齋為彰化縣南管重要館閣之ㄧ,位於鹿港北頭郭厝,最初由當地人郭來龍所發起,時間大約在清光緒十一年(西元一八八五年),距今約有一百三十餘年!
早期並未正式設館名,在陳貢接任館主後,才為曲館正式命名 '' 遏雲齋 '' (相傳取自唐朝 ''樂府雜錄'' 中的 ''遏雲響谷之妙'' ,來輝映南管音樂的美。
