基隆佛光青年團 開心的基隆佛光青年團 With modern facilities, it is an important center for practicing Buddhism in Keelung.

極樂寺結合了文化、藝術、社教、弘法與共修，是傳統與現代化結合的多功能道場。

在建築外觀來看，極樂寺大雄寶殿巍峨莊嚴，而佛祖像與殿內壁畫結合為一，常使參拜民眾自然而然心境詳和起來。入口處右側花圃內有石觀音像，山門有笑口常開的彌勒佛像，常見信徒或過路民眾絡繹不絕的前來合十參拜。

極樂寺設有禪堂、講堂與圖書館，三樓還設有社教館，開辦各種才藝課程。另外五樓附設滴水坊，提供文人雅士一個休憩品茗的典雅好地方。

二樓講堂每週有念佛共修會，農曆初一有光明燈消災報恩法會、農曆十五有光明燈消災法會。每月另有水懺、八關齋戒、大悲懺。並不定期舉辦三皈五戒等各種的活動，能讓信徒有機會修行辦道、安住身心。

五樓服務台，每天免費供應「佛光茶」，不論何時來訪，笑容可掬的義工師姐們，都會親切地為您奉上一杯佛光茶。

這些多元化的設計，無非就是要讓信眾們，在這紛擾紅塵中，找到一個安樂的淨土，極樂寺提供信眾念佛、參禪、

聞法，研修經藏，以及社教活動之用，歡迎同霑法益！
