簡單講，學生們扮演各國的外交官，以聯合國會議形式，討論目前國際間關心的議題，並且達成對彼此最有利的協議。
模擬聯合國，顧名思義就是模擬聯合國的開會議程。主要是由一群學生扮演各國外交官，上台表述對一個議題的立場，經由一次次的討論與協商後，作出最好、符合多數人利益的選擇。
模聯的宗旨是希望學生能跳脫主觀的論點，讓學生能以一個新的視野去看世界局勢，增加外語能力、促進學生交流及擴展國際視野，此方式，學生們可以熟悉聯合國的運作方式，瞭解世界發生的大事對他們未來的影響，瞭解自身在未來可以發揮的作用。
模聯以聯合國所關切的國際問題為議題。在會議過程中，青年們通過深入分析國際時事，增強對世界的關注，以及對時事的把握能力。讓學生們在模擬聯合國活動的瞭解和參與中，認識自己國家之外的廣大的世界，從而培養領導能力，學會解決爭端、解決問題的方法。
Model United Nations,
as its name suggests, it models how the United Nations' agenda works. It's held by by a group of students who play diplomats, came to power to express the positions of nations through many times of discussion and consultation, to make the best interests of the majority. MUN's goal is to make students escape from their subjective thoughts, so that students can look at the world situation with a new vision, increase the foreign language skills, promote student communication and expand the international perspective, So that students can be more familiar with the operation of the United Nations and understand how the world's main events impact their future. During the conferences, students through in-depth analysis of international affairs, strengthen the attention to the world, as well as the ability to grasp on current affairs.
