南屏佛光童軍團 Nan-ping Scout 以三好『做好事、說好話、存好心』作為核心目標，重視生活與品德教育，?

1996年創會長星雲大師有感兒童及青少年問題日趨嚴重，希望給兒童及青少年一個快樂健康活動，伴隨他們成長茁壯，提出世界各地成立佛光童軍團。
2000年8月21日於高雄佛光山十位幼童代表正式授銜成立中華佛光童軍團。
2000年9月3日假台北國父紀念館舉行佛光童軍團授旗成團儀式。
