During the Closing Ceremony of the African Tchoukball Championships, FITB President Delane Lim addressed recent governance matters affecting the international tchoukball community.
In his remarks, the President spoke about the situation in Kenya, which unfortunately resulted in the country’s inability to participate in the Championships, and also addressed questions raised regarding the hosting of the Championships in Tunisia.
The President reaffirmed FITB’s commitment to neutrality, good governance, transparency, and the principle of putting athletes first. He emphasised that while domestic governance remains the responsibility of each National Federation and country, FITB will continue to uphold its Charter and work constructively with all stakeholders to safeguard the integrity and unity of our sport.
As our global community continues to grow, FITB remains committed to fostering collaboration, resolving challenges through dialogue, and ensuring that tchoukball continues to develop in the spirit of respect, fair play and solidarity.
