5/5迎來校內各領域教師參與EMI交流,4位伴飛 mentors 帶來豐富且精彩的英語授課經驗分享!

🙌 洪在明教授(物理系)
以 “What makes a good teacher?” 為題,分享透過錄製課堂觀察自己的教學方式,以及以3C: Communication、Conversation、Connection 強化師生互動。交流時間中,洪老師也分享如何透過分組設計,引導不同準備度學生彼此互助學習。

🌿 張琳副教授(藝設系)
張老師擷取多年EMI教學精華tips,分享如何運用「V+ing 主詞補語」強化流暢的口語表達,以及朗讀優質原文書內容,引導學生從英語脈絡中深入理解課程內容與語彙。

🌟 李雨青副教授(工工系)
分享從美國至臺灣的全英語教學歷程,除了克服美國校園文化差異,也持續觀摩與精進教學方法。參與伴飛計畫後,更以 mentor 身份陪伴新手教師,將過去的摸索經驗轉化為指南。

🧪 周鶴修教授(化工系)
回顧十年EMI教學經驗,分享課程如何從講述型板書逐步轉向同儕學習模式,並帶領學生探索 Matrix 矩陣在 Minecraft遊戲 與化學工程中的應用。

交流時間中,老師們也針對理工科EMI教學、師生互動破冰、中英文比例運用,以及如何提升學生學習動機等主題熱烈交流,可說是收穫滿滿!

The NTHU EMI Center warmly invites faculty members to join the Trinity College London – CertPT EMI Teacher Training Workshop!

📌 Eligibility|NTHU faculty members and PhD students are prioritized; applicants from other universities will be placed on the waiting list

In today’s AI-driven era, the ability to create presentations is no longer a differentiating skill. The real value lies in clearly structuring ideas and communicating insights effectively.

We were pleased to welcome SlideArt designer Emma to share her expertise on presentation thinking and design.

Through a “purpose-focused” approach, participants learned how to:

·Distill key messages from complex information
·Structure ideas more effectively
·Leverage AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency

Emma also shared practical experience from business presentation projects, highlighting that effective presentations are not only about visual design, but also about clarity, storytelling, and influence.

AI 🤖 正在快速改變教學的樣貌,而這次的工作坊,我們嘗試把問題拉回最核心: 當AI進入EMI課堂,教學的本質會如何被重新設計?

本次邀請駱世民教授分享 AI 融入 EMI 課程設計的實務經驗,並透過實作方式,引導教師從課程概念出發,一步步建構 AI 支援的 EMI 課程最小可行產品(MVP),包含教材設計、自主學習任務與課堂互動活動,並整合成可運作的數位學習架構。

在短短兩小時的交流中,更清楚感受到: 教學創新不只是工具導入,而是重新思考「學生如何學習」與「教師如何設計學習」 💡

【EMI Teacher Development Workshop | Highlights】
AI 🤖 is rapidly reshaping the landscape of teaching and learning. In this workshop, we returned to a fundamental question:
How should the design of EMI teaching evolve when AI becomes part of the classroom?

We were honored to have Prof. Shihmin Lo from NCNU share his practical experience in integrating AI into EMI course design. Through a hands-on, design-based approach, participants were guided to develop a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for an AI-supported EMI course. This included instructional material design, self-directed learning (SDL) tasks, and in-class interactive activities, all integrated into a functional digital learning framework.

Within just two hours of discussion and practice, one key insight became even clearer:
educational innovation is not merely about adopting tools, but about rethinking how learning happens and how learning experiences are intentionally designed 💡

Grateful to all participating educators for the meaningful exchange and for expanding the possibilities of EMI teaching and learning 🙌
