Students and Workers Unite! Defend the Right to Organize!

Students and workers alike are expected to return to their schools and workplaces after the Lunar New Year break, and yet the Taidoc management still moves with impunity and has not taken accountability for its crimes of union-busting! This sets a dangerous precedent for other employers who can similarly choose to violate the Labor Union Act and ignore government sanctions. We refuse to accept this as normal and demand the New Taipei City Government to intervene. Schools and workplaces alike must be safeguarded from bullying, undermining autonomy, and undermining the right to organize.

Let us stand together! Defend our rights and our futures as both students and workers!

We sincerely invite student groups, labor organizations, civil society groups, and all supporters of workers’ rights to join us in defending labor rights and union autonomy.

After the Lunar New Year holiday, the Taidoc Technology Labor Union (TTLU) will march to the New Taipei City Government and present the following demands:

🚩 Freeze Taidoc’s migrant worker quotas in accordance
🚩 Reinstate all dismissed union officers with full legal compensation
🚩 Immediately refund illegally collected fees and cease union repression
🚩 Stop mobilizing management-controlled puppets to replace the legitimate union

【公告：泰博在今日正式開除所有工會幹部】

我們非常沉重地向大家宣告，昨日的抗議，我們僅僅是呼籲保障「工會自主權」。就在剛才，泰博資方開除了所有工會幹部，理由是「散布不法罷工訊息」、「造成公司不利輿論」

對於公司透過解雇來威嚇員工的作風，我們感到痛心疾首。我們的工會籌組完全經由主管機關合法審理、完全符合《工會法》的規範，但我們的尊嚴仍然被公司踐踏在腳下，甚至有更多幹部被解雇...

我們仍會繼續捍衛我們的權利，但我們也要呼籲社會大眾：今天有一個泰博資方，明天就會有更多泰博資方；今天有工會幹部被莫名開除，明天同樣會有更多工會幹部被莫名開除

"Announcement: TaiDoc Has Officially Dismissed All Union Officers Today"

It is with great heaviness that we announce to everyone that yesterday’s protest was merely a call to safeguard union autonomy.　As of just now, TaiDoc’s management has dismissed all union officers, citing reasons such as “spreading information about an illegal strike” and “causing adverse public opinion for the company.”

We are deeply distressed by the company’s use of dismissals to intimidate employees. Our union was organized entirely through lawful procedures, reviewed and approved by the competent authorities, and fully complies with the Labor Union Act. Yet our dignity has still been trampled underfoot by the company, and even more officers have been dismissed…

We will continue to defend our rights. At the same time, we call upon the public: today it is TaiDoc’s management; tomorrow there will be more like TaiDoc’s management. Today union officers are dismissed without justification; tomorrow, more union officers will likewise be dismissed without cause.

【泰博違法 移工受害 部長擺爛 跨校學生「協尋」部長記者會採訪通知】

一群來自菲律賓的基層女工，其中不少人是單親母親，為了支撐家庭開支，她們忍痛繳納了接近十萬的中介費、離鄉背井來到台灣。沒想到，等待她們的是國內知名生產醫療科技——泰博科技公司的不當對待。若違反公司的管理要領，就會遭到各式勞動服務甚至遣送的懲處：
📝3-5-1條，強迫所有移工遵守公司宿舍管理規範，違反者可直接遣送回國
📝3-5-12條，嚴禁組小團體、示威與罷工，違反者處勞動服務兩個月遣返回國
📝3-7-1-1條，不得自行解約，否則須支付罰款並無條件遣返
📝3-7-2-3條，若重出入境需繳付押金20,000元
📝3-9-3-6條，受雇期間在台結婚、懷孕及攜眷者，將予以懲罰與遣返

這些女工一直以來都是競競業業、為生計、為家庭而不斷忍耐，但公司卻變本加厲，透過種種不合理且「琳瑯滿目」的規則來懲處她們，連在浴廁未隨手關門，都會被判處五天勞動服務（3-5-22條）。忍無可忍下，她們決定組織工會捍衛權利，但卻遭到資方的威嚇、要求解散或退出工會，甚至11月07日到主管機關陳情都被記曠職。

然而，勞動部的回應，不僅讓無數人失望，更讓這些女工感到心寒。勞動部僅空泛表示交由「裁決懲處」，或是請這些女工自行撥打「1955協助專線」來解決問題。但同時，資方仍在持續施壓，不僅限制工會幹部的會務假申請，更嘗試孤立這些試圖維權的女工。

洪部長，您自稱「致力於打造更健全、友善的職場環境，為勞工群體創造更多福祉」，實際上，這麼多泰博的女工正在等待您的介入，您卻選擇神隱規避。我們要問，這些女工等得起裁決懲處嗎？面對她們的淚水、生計、痛苦與委屈，洪部長都不願出面承諾身為部長的擔當嗎？

先前巨大集團因為涉及強迫勞動被禁止產品輸入至美國，造成社會輿論譁然。如今泰博強迫勞動情況較巨大更嚴重，勞動部不立即介入要求資方改正，甚至選擇置身事外，這無疑會增加另一個台灣出口廠商於被國際制裁的風險。除此之外，泰博的威權作風無疑會在移工內造成恐慌、加強移工對台灣職場的恐懼；如此高壓的職場管理模式，恐怕也會讓移工非法逃逸問題變得更嚴重。

看到這些泰博女工的處境，身為學生的我們感到憤怒與憂心，若等待我們的是擺爛的部長、是軟弱的主管機關，我們的未來勢必也得不到保障。因此，我們選擇與泰博女工站在一起、在11/20挺身而出！我們不只要求洪申翰部長出來面對，更會在未來持續「協尋」部長。倘若部會再不正面表態，我們也不排除將泰博涉及強迫勞動的惡行與證據通報美國CBP（美國海關及邊境保衛局）。

🚩我們的訴求：
1️⃣要求洪部長出面承諾，未來親自接見泰博工會幹部，否則學生將協尋部長
2️⃣因工會幹部即將屆滿而被資方終止契約和遣返、變相打壓工會，勞動部應有保障工會和幹部的解決方案
3️⃣針對裁決委員會尚未判決期間，勞動部應積極介入輔導並保障工會權益
4️⃣若資方繼續構成重大違法事項，勞動部應禁止泰博繼續引進移工，並配合經濟部投審司凍結泰博對外投資
