教育學院 EMI 資源中心於 115 年 6 月 10 日（三）上午，在 教育學院一館 301 教室 舉辦「萬物大賞：Show & Tale」英語創意發表活動，邀請學生帶著具有個人故事、珍貴回憶或特殊意義的物品，以英文進行分享與交流。
✨ 本次活動以輕鬆幽默的 Show and Tell 形式進行，鼓勵學生將日常物件轉化為英文敘事素材。發表人透過三分鐘英文簡報，介紹自己的珍藏物、運動用品、紀念物或具有情感連結的物件，並接受台下同學以英文提問。活動現場氣氛熱絡，學生不僅練習英語口說，也學習如何以簡短、有條理且具感染力的方式，進行英文故事表達簡報。
📌 活動中，有同學分享陪伴自己訓練歷程的泳帽，談到團隊歸屬感與大學運動生活的轉變；有同學分享所配戴的戒指與自身生命歷程的關聯；也有同學以棒球手套、獎盃與個人物件作為主題，呈現物品背後的努力、回憶與生命故事。台下同學則透過貼紙投票與 Q&A 互動，積極參與評選與提問，讓活動不只是單向發表，更成為一場充滿笑聲、故事與英文交流的學習派對。
🙋♀️ 本次評選採全場投票方式，發表人努力爭取觀眾的支持；同時，觀眾也透過英文提問參與「Q&A 積分戰」，在互動中提升聽力理解、即興表達與跨文化溝通能力。透過這樣的活動設計，學生能在低壓力、高互動的環境中自然使用英文，進一步培養 EMI 學習所需的語言自信與表達能力。
🌱「萬物大賞：Show & Tale」不只是一次英文活動，更是一場從物品出發、連結個人經驗與他人故事的交流實踐。教育學院 EMI 資源中心將持續推動多元、創意且貼近學生生活的英語學習活動，讓英文不只出現在課堂中，也能自然融入分享、提問、表達與互動之中。

On the morning of Wednesday, June 10, 2026, the College of Education EMI Resource Center held “The Grand Curiosities Showcase: Show & Tale”, an English creative presentation activity, in Room 301, College of Education Building 1. Students were invited to bring objects with personal stories, precious memories, or special meanings, and to share and communicate in English.
✨ This activity was conducted in a relaxed and humorous Show and Tell format, encouraging students to turn everyday objects into materials for English storytelling. Each presenter gave a three-minute English presentation to introduce a cherished item, sports equipment, souvenir, or object with emotional significance, followed by English questions from the audience. The atmosphere was lively and engaging. Students not only practiced English speaking, but also learned how to deliver stories in a concise, organized, and compelling way.
📌 During the activity, one student shared a swimming cap that had accompanied him through his training journey, reflecting on team belonging and the transition in his university athletic life. Another student shared the connection between a ring and their personal life journey. Other students presented a baseball glove, a trophy, and various personal items, revealing the effort, memories, and life stories behind these objects. Audience members actively participated through sticker voting and Q&A interactions, transforming the event from a one-way presentation into a learning party filled with laughter, stories, and English communication.
🙋♀️ The evaluation was based on audience voting, with presenters striving to win support from their peers. At the same time, audience members joined the “Q&A Point Battle” by asking questions in English, enhancing their listening comprehension, spontaneous speaking, and cross-cultural communication skills through interaction. Through this activity design, students were able to use English naturally in a low-pressure and highly interactive environment, further developing the language confidence and communication skills needed for EMI learning.
🌱 “The Grand Curiosities Showcase: Show & Tale” was not only an English activity, but also a meaningful practice of connecting personal experiences with others’ stories through objects. The College of Education EMI Resource Center will continue to promote diverse, creative, and student-centered English learning activities, helping English move beyond the classroom and become part of everyday sharing, questioning, expression, and interaction.
