【溪頭】 清康熙年間（一六六二至一七二一﹚，彰化大墾首楊志，從南投縣中寮鄉八杞仙山引水經大唬山麓（今中興新村﹚、月眉厝至碧山巖前，再順八卦台地東麓北上至快官，溪頭農地當引貓羅溪水上、下埤之上頭處、故稱溪頭。
