▍愛女孩的開始
愛女孩 Love Binti 從2015年開始深入非洲偏鄉，在極端貧窮中，我們看見生理用品的缺乏限制了婦女的行動，也導致女孩輟學。因此推動布衛生棉教學，為婦女的月事夢魘提供一個可負擔且永續的解方
▍How We Started
Love Binti started its work in rural Africa in 2015. Thus, we started our action with sanitary pads training, seeking to provide an affordable and sustainable solution for the women.
▍愛女孩做的事情
從布衛生棉教學開始，我們看見更多婦女的需要，也看見她們承擔照顧家庭、農務勞動的責任 --「她們的韌性與毅力會是家庭與社群脫離貧窮的關鍵力量。」
於是愛女孩透過設置水井、雨水收集系統、生態廁所等措施，改善供水與衛生；也為偏鄉建設教室，捍衛孩子的受教權；並設立訓練中心、提供各樣培訓，使婦女能夠取得知識與資源。
▍What do we do? From menstrual education, we started seeing more needs of the women. We saw how that they are often responsible with caring for the family, farming, and other hard labor-- "Their resilience and perseverance through all is the key to escaping poverty for the family and community as a whole." Love Binti started with the improvement of basic infrastructure, from boreholes, rainwater collecting system, bio-toilet to ensure basic needs are met; building classrooms to strengthen the right to education for children; establishing training centers to empower women by arming them with knowledge and resources.
