Here's our schedule of events for Family Ties, celebrating Trinidad and Tobago's bond with Cuba! We're hosting a different conversation each night at 7 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday, then Roberto Cartaya will have a dance workshop at 4 p.m. on Sunday. The dance workshop is a fundraising event for the people of Cuba and costs $100. Admission to the conversations is free.

Our exhibition of photos and paintings curated by the Cuban Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago is open every day from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and can also be visited during each evening's events.

Starting Tuesday April 28, join us at the Lloyd Best Institute for a six-day series of events celebrating the bond between Trinidad and Tobago and Cuba!

At 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, we'll open an exhibition of photos and paintings and host a conversation with His Excellency Gustavo Daniel Véliz Olivares, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba in Trinidad.

Thursday evening at 6:30, join Caribbeing at the Lloyd Best Institute for the opening night of the Caribbean Reparations Visual Arts Exhibition, featuring the work of young visual artists from Trinidad and Tobago focusing on the themes of slavery, colonialism and reparatory justice.

The exhibition will be open from 4 p.m. to 6:30 from July 24th through August 4th. On opening night, please use the car park at the Reformed Evangelical Church across the street from the LBI. If you visit on the following days, just park in our yard.
