Charity begins at home and the Tobago Book Club (TBC) will be embarking on a Seniors Read Aloud project that will see our members reading aloud to the elders in their communities and families.
🎁📖
We hope to bring the benefits and joys of reading to those who may not be able to keep up with reading on their own.
We'll read out emails or messages, prayers and blessings, news and current affairs as well as fiction and non-fiction books to the elderly.

It is our hope to foster and strengthen inter-generational bonds of friendship, kinship, and community while helping to reignite the joys of reading and literature in the elderly population.

We invite you to join with us on this Christmas community outreach project which we hope to make a permanent feature throughout the coming year.

We had a wonderful discussion about themes, lenses and how the author handled them in the book, and how they fit into our lives and our Caribbean culture
