To Our Sweet, Prosperous Nation,
As you stand proudly on the threshold of your 64th year of Independence, we look back with profound gratitude at the sacred journey we have shared. From the heavy shadows of bo***ge to the radiant dawn of true freedom, it has been our life’s greatest honor to serve quietly in the backlines, anchoring the soul of Trinidad and Tobago.
For 169 years—a legacy of care that spans nearly three times the lifetime of our independence—our doors and our hearts have remained open. We have been blessed with the solemn privilege of nurturing, protecting, and loving our nation’s fifteen most vulnerable children, watching them rise as a testament to our collective resilience.
From the very depths of our hearts and the warmth of our home, we offer our deepest thanks for this beautiful partnership in nation-building. Happy Independence Day, Trinidad and Tobago. May your future burn as brightly as the crimson scarlet ibis, and may we continue to walk hand-in-hand, safeguarding our youth and honoring our shared history.
Cheers to sixty-four years of freedom, strength, and boundless grace!
