🌱 Something *"POWERFUL"* Is Taking Shape in Rural Trinidad! ⚡🚲

WE CODE Caribbean is partnering with renewable energy professionals and we're placing rural and coastal Primary school girls, right alongside them to design and build an exciting prototype that uses a solar panel, a wind-turbine and a pedal-powered bicycle.

Through our flagship SHE IN ICT - EcoGEN Caribbean initiative, we’re bringing renewable energy, applied engineering and hands on STEAM learning closer to the communities that need it most.

With support from the GEF Small Grants Programme (GEF SGP), implemented by UNDP, we’re turning bold ideas into opportunities for the next generation of Caribbean innovators. 🌍💚

WE CODE Caribbean is entering Caribbean Dragons: The Catalyst — Cohort 1 and we are taking our vision from grassroots impact to regional scale.🚀🪄

Our next chapter is built on THREE interconnected pillars:

💻 COMPUTING + DATA — Preparing Caribbean youth for the digital, AI and data economy.

⚡ RENEWABLE ENERGY — Building green technology skills and climate solutions that work in our communities.

🎓 21ST-CENTURY SKILLS acquisition to EMPLOYMENT — Creating an education-to-opportunity pipeline that connects RURAL TALENT to the emerging Caribbean economy.

For years, we have taken coding, STEAM and digital opportunity into rural communities where access matters most. Now, we are building the infrastructure, partnerships and pathways to take that model across the CARICOM: Caribbean Community region.
