🔹This year for
Environment Tobago had the pleasure of sharing a wonderful morning of activities with the teachers and students of the Tobago International Academy

🔹Our team was happy to interact and share experiences with students as we engaged together!

🔹ET President had the chance to speak to students on the wonders of Mother Nature and how important caring for our natural environment is!

🔹A poui and cherry tree respectively were planted with the helping hands of many excited and eager students!

🔹2 books on environmental education were donated to the school’s library!

🔹This initiative continues ET’s work to promote environmental education, awareness and advocacy!

🔹This intiative also relaunches the Tobago efforts and drive towards the Caribbean Tree Planting Project as part of a collaborative partnership with the CariphilAlliance TT
A special thank you to Tobago Reforestation and Watershed Rehabilitation Programme - TRWRP for donating the trees which were planted on the day!

Tomorrow Prime Minister Stuart Young will meet Marco Rubio to discuss matters 'third border' -. On Young's side of the table will be Mia Mottley, Barbados PM and Fritz Alphonse Jean, transitional head of Haiti. Rubio's agenda is fairly transparent. He wants to ensure the US squeeze on other borders regarding matters fentanyl, co***ne and illegal immigrants do not reroute thru the Caribbean. Which may already be the case. Rubio will also want to ensure the region's oil and gas flows do not further enrich China, do not further embolden the BRICS bloc.

USA’s withdrawal from the Paris Agreement does not relieve other countries of responsibility to reduce emissions. Nor does it remove their (and everyone else’s) pressing need to adapt to the impacts of climate change. But what would be nice to hear Marco Rubio say is; that Trump has recanted and will bring the States back into the Paris Agreement.
