Our hearts are full of gratitude following the successful launch of the Freedom To Rise BEE Her Campaign Support Group.

A sincere thank you to our facilitator, Tameika Mungo, for sharing her knowledge, wisdom, and practical insights on Self-Care and Perimenopause. Your openness and expertise helped create a safe and empowering space for meaningful conversation.

Special thanks also to Mr. Dion Laurie, Head Librarian, and the Sangre Grande Public Library NALIS team for hosting our inaugural session and supporting this important initiative for women in our community.

Most importantly, thank you to every woman who showed up, shared her story, listened, encouraged, and allowed herself to be heard. Your presence made the event what it was, a supportive circle of strength, understanding, and sisterhood. Together, we demonstrated that no woman has to navigate life's transitions alone.

The Freedom To Rise BEE Her Campaign Support Group was created to provide women with a safe space to connect, learn, heal, and grow, and we are excited about what lies ahead.

We look forward to welcoming even more women at our next support group meeting in July. Stay tuned for the official date, location, and topic.

Until then, continue to care for yourselves, support one another, and remember, you are worthy, you are valued, and you are never alone.

Today, Freedom To Rise celebrates the strength, resilience, and potential of women everywhere.

As an organization dedicated to creating platforms where women can be educated, heard, and empowered, we recognize the power of women supporting women.

This year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” reminds us that when we share our knowledge, uplift one another, and create opportunities for growth, we all benefit.

Ladies let's stand with and uplift each other rather than pull down based on our differences in race, economic status or political alignment.

After a long time of quiet, Freedom To Rise is excited to share what we have been doing behind the scenes. We never stopped pouring!!!

We have officially begun our Acrylic Nails Application – Basic Class with the amazing young ladies of the Freedom To Rise Girls Club at Coryal Secondary Coryalsecondary School

Under the skilled guidance of our tutor Sophia Hall, owner of Serenity Nails by Sophia, the girls are learning not just a practical skill, but discipline, creativity, confidence, and the value of developing income-earning abilities early in life.

We proudly completed our 2nd session on Wednesday 21st, 2026, and the growth we’re already seeing is inspiring. This is what empowerment looks like, one lesson, one skill, one girl at a time.

Thank you to everyone who continues to believe in the mission of Freedom To Rise.

BEE Her Campaign Phase 2 Follow up

As stated before, Phase 2 is all about providing common ground to be each other's keeper.

We have been abe to secure 2 persons willing to facilitate and now need a Facilitator for the Single Mothers Support group as well as the Domestic Violence Sessions.

This is an opportunity to not just hon your skills and abilities but to also allow your pain to bring healing.

Some key support groups we wish to get started are as follows:

☑️ Single Mothers

☑️Self Care

Meetings will be hosted at various locations such as schools, libraries, restaurants.

Today we shake ouf fist against Breast Cancer at Coryal Secondary School.

Team Freedom To Rise along with team Coryal Secondary School did their bit to bring awareness to this health epidemic of Breast Cancer!

Too many women are being diagnosed with this heart breaking and dreaded disease
The names of our loved ones who are battling and who lost the fight was honored. All females from student to staff was educated well by ERHA grande very own Health Education Officer Ms Kezia Phillip.

She truly opened our eyes of awareness today, sharing with great relevance and clarity!

We wish to also thank one of our very own extremely talented Freedom To Rise Volunteers Alicia Buck of Amplified Event Essentials who donated some beautiful balloon artistry with a message!

It is hoped that more research will bring a solution to this ordeal and end the tears that flows as we experience the fall of our angels in earthen vessels

Remember!!
Take charge of your health — perform regular self-examinations, schedule routine mammograms, and pay attention to any changes in your breasts.

Together, through education and awareness, we can save lives.

Freedom To Rise Welcomes Churches Chicken and Rituals to Sangre Grande.

Freedom To Rise proudly joined in celebrating the grand opening of Churches Chicken and Rituals Coffee House in Sangre Grande on Saturday!

The atmosphere was filled with joy, community spirit, and creativity as residents came together to welcome these new additions to the town. The event featured an exciting visit from local entertainer Kyle Mark, popularly known as “Kyle Boss,” who brought his signature energy and charm to the day’s festivities.

Children from the community were treated to Toppers snacks, fun activities, and beautiful face-painting artistry—a true celebration of togetherness and positive community engagement.

As an NGO dedicated to empowering women, families and youth, Freedom To Rise celebrates this investment in our community and the job opportunities it brings to Sangre Grande. We look forward to future collaborations and partnerships with Churches Chicken, Rituals, and other corporate entities who share our vision for social upliftment, awareness to issues which affect women, youth empowerment, and community development.

Together, we can continue to inspire hope, create opportunities, and build a stronger Sangre Grande.
