The Voice of Lupus Foundation

The Voice of Lupus Foundation A registered NGO fiercely committed to improving the quality of lives for all people with Lupus. Ms.

The Voice of Lupus Foundation (VLF) is a non-profit organization established 10 years ago to foster greater awareness about lupus in Trinidad and Tobago and throughout the Caribbean Region. The Voice of Lupus Foundation is founded by Reeanna Harrilal, a broadcast journalist whose extensive media career spans print, radio and television. Harrilal is a lupus survivor who has been living with Systemi

c Lupus Erythematous. The mission of VLF is to give Lupus a Voice worldwide by helping to shine a light on this largely medically unrecognized disease. We hope to build support for the needs of those affected by this chronic debilitating disease and to elevate lupus to a place of prominence on the global health care agenda. Together as one, we believe we can make a difference and give Lupus a Voice! This group is for the grandmothers, mothers, daughters, sisters, aunts, nieces, sons, brothers and fathers who lost the battle against this dreadful disease. Also it is for those who continue to fight and those who have won the battle against Lupus!

On this final day of Lupus Awareness Month, our message is simple:

Awareness doesn't end here.

May may be coming to a close, but for millions of people living with lupus, the journey continues tomorrow, next week, next month, and every day thereafter.

That is why our commitment must continue.

We will keep educating.
We will keep advocating.
We will keep listening.
We will keep supporting.
We will keep amplifying the voices of those living with lupus.

Because awareness is not a one-month event.

It is a year-round commitment to understanding, compassion, advocacy, and action.

As Lupus Awareness Month ends, let us not forget the faces behind the diagnosis, the families affected, and the warriors who continue to fight battles many people cannot see.

Thank you for walking with us throughout this month.

The conversation continues.
The advocacy continues.
The support continues.

And together, we will continue to make a difference.

πŸ’œ Awareness is a moment.
πŸ’œ Advocacy is a movement.
πŸ’œ Support is a commitment.

The journey continues.

On this 30th day of Lupus Awareness Month in May, this message is for every person living with lupus.

The journey is not always easy.

There are days when you feel strong.
There are days when you feel exhausted.
There are days when the world sees your smile but not your struggle.

But through it all, we want you to know this:

You are not alone.

There is a community that understands.
There are voices that care.
There are advocates who are fighting alongside you.
There is hope, even on the hardest days.

Your story matters.
Your life matters.
Your courage matters.

If today feels heavy, remember that there are thousands of lupus warriors walking this road with you.

Keep going.
Keep believing.
Keep showing up for yourself.

Together, we are stronger.

πŸ’œ You are seen.
πŸ’œ You are valued.
πŸ’œ You are never alone.

On this 29th day of Lupus Awareness Month in May, we are reminded that no one should have to face lupus alone.

Living with lupus can be challenging, but the journey becomes a little lighter when we walk it together. Behind every diagnosis is a person who needs understanding, encouragement, compassion, and support.

There is strength in connection.
There is hope in shared experiences.
There is comfort in knowing someone understands.
There is power in community.

Whether you are living with lupus, caring for a loved one, or standing as an advocate, your presence matters. Every conversation, every act of kindness, and every show of support helps build a stronger lupus community.

Together, we can raise awareness, inspire hope, and remind those affected by lupus that they are seen, valued, and never alone.

We are stronger together. πŸ’œ

It's day 28 of Lupus Awareness Month in May. Here is another reminder that Strength doesn’t always look powerful.
Sometimes it looks like: Showing up.
Pushing through.
Trying again.
This is the strength you don’t always see.

On this day 27 of Lupus Awareness Month in May, we are reminding individuals that not everything is visible.
Behind the smile…
there may be pain, fatigue, and silent battles.
So be kind.
Be patient.
Be understanding.
You never know what someone is carrying.
