Labour Day 2026

Today, we join the nation in recognizing the dedication, commitment, and contributions of workers across Trinidad and Tobago.

Every day, workers from all walks of life play an important role in supporting our families, strengthening our communities, and helping our nation grow. Their efforts, whether seen or unseen, make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

As Scouts, we value service, responsibility, and doing our best. These principles are reflected in the countless individuals who contribute their time, skills, and energy to building a better tomorrow.

On behalf of The Scout Association of Trinidad and Tobago, we extend our sincere appreciation to all workers and wish everyone a safe, enjoyable, and meaningful Labour Day.

🇹🇹🌺 Happy Indian Arrival Day from the South Central Scout District 🌺🇹🇹

Today, we honour the courage, resilience, sacrifice, and rich cultural heritage of the Indian indentured labourers who arrived on our shores 181 years ago and helped shape the Trinidad and Tobago we know today.

As Scouts, we celebrate the values of unity, diversity, respect, and community spirit that continue to strengthen our nation and inspire future generations.

May we always remember and appreciate the contributions of our ancestors as we continue building a brighter and more united tomorrow together.

The Scout Association of Trinidad and Tobago is pleased to announce the appointment of Krishan Punilal as Acting National Scout Commissioner.

In this capacity, he will support the continued growth, development, and operations of the Association while working alongside volunteers and young people to advance the Mission of Scouting throughout Trinidad and Tobago.

We extend our congratulations to Krishan and wish him every success as he undertakes this important responsibility.

🌍⚜️ SOUTH CENTRAL SCOUT DISTRICT ENVIRONMENTAL WALK 2026 ⚜️🌍

Join us on **Saturday June 6th, 2026** as Scouts from across the district come together for our Environmental Walk under the theme of protecting and preserving our environment for future generations. 🌱💚

📍 Assemble: San Fernando City Hall
⏰ Assembly Time: 7:30 AM
🚶 Walk Starts: 8:00 AM

All Scout Bands will be present as we unite in promoting environmental awareness, teamwork, responsibility, and community spirit.

Participants are encouraged to review the route, select their environmental themes, and prepare placards highlighting the importance of protecting our planet. 🌎♻️

Together, let us continue building a greener tomorrow and making a positive difference within our communities.

The South Central Scout District extends heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Krishan Punilal on his appointment as Acting National Scout Commissioner of The Scout Association of Trinidad and Tobago, effective May 21, 2026.

We wish him every success as he undertakes this important leadership role in service to Scouting and the young people of our nation.
