The Rotaract Club of Princes Town invites you to be part of our Wear It Forward Clothing Drive — a free community thrift initiative aimed at providing gently used clothing to those in need.

If you have clean, gently used clothing that you would like to donate, we would love your support. Every item shared helps bring comfort, dignity, and hope to someone in our community.

Today, the Rotaract Club of Princes Town proudly gave back through our Hope Served Hot initiative, distributing meals to members of the homeless community in Princes Town and sharing remaining food packages with families in need.

A heartfelt thank you to Aaliyah, our Event Lead, along with our hardworking Board and dedicated members who made this initiative a success. 🙌🏽 Your teamwork and commitment to service truly made an impact.

We’re looking forward to doing this again soon — hopefully in observance of World Food Day 🌍🍽️

From the planning stages to distribution day, this project reminded us what community truly looks like.

In honor of World Diabetes Day, let’s shine a light on an urgent health challenge. 💡

In Trinidad and Tobago, roughly 12% of adults have diabetes , and worldwide cases have surged to 830 million in 2022 . The condition is serious: people with diabetes are twice as likely to have a heart attack or stroke , and it can cause blindness, kidney failure and other serious complications .

But there’s hope: early diagnosis and healthy living can change the story. This World Diabetes Day let’s encourage one another to get screened. Let’s stand together to educate, empower and empower every fighter out there as well! 💙

✨ A New Chapter Begins ✨
On October 11th, we officially celebrated the chartering of the Rotaract Club of Princes Town and wow, what a moment. 💫

Surrounded by support from the Rotary Club of Princes Town, district leaders, family, friends, and community partners, we stepped forward as a club committed to service, leadership, and meaningful impact in our community.

Our first President Avinash Ramlochan, VP Lara along with our charter members, were officially pinned and recognized, marking the start of a journey grounded in purpose, unity, and growth.

This is more than a club.
It’s a space for young leaders to rise, learn, serve, and build change that lasts.

We’re just getting started. 🌱

🌎 World Polio Day 2025 🌎
Today, we stand united with Rotaract and Rotary clubs around the world in raising awareness and support for the fight to end polio. 💪🏽

Polio may seem like a thing of the past, but until it’s gone everywhere, it’s not truly gone. This preventable disease still affects children in some parts of the world, and our mission is to make sure no child ever has to suffer from it again. 💉

Through decades of service, countless volunteers, and life-changing vaccines, Rotary’s Polio Eradication Initiative has helped reduce polio cases by 99.9% worldwide. That is the power of persistence, compassion, and community in action. 🙌🏽

Together, let’s continue to spread awareness, support immunization efforts, and move one step closer to a polio-free world. When we act together, we make history. 💙

A historic beginning for the Rotaract Club of Princes Town!

We are proud to officially introduce ourselves as the newly chartered Rotaract Club of Princes Town, a youth-led movement dedicated to community service, leadership, and growth through the spirit of Service 🌍

Our charter ceremony marked a truly historic moment; one filled with laughter, fellowship, inspiration, and the shared excitement of beginning something meaningful. During this special evening, we received our official charter certificate and celebrated alongside guiding members from our parent Rotary Club of Princes Town and Rotaract clubs.

The event featured greetings from Rotaract President Avinash Ramlochan, Rotaract President Elect Lara Lee, Rotary President Crystal Ann-Harper, Foundation Director Ms. Oosha Jagdin, and an inspiring address by Guest Speaker, Past Rotary President Jamir Ousman.

From warm smiles to meaningful words, from shared stories to delicious fellowship. Our charter evening was more than just a ceremony; it was the start of a legacy.

As we begin this journey, we do so with purpose, unity, and compassion ; ready to serve our community and the world at large with excellence and heart. 💛
